A comprehensive guide to hosting a final fling in San Diego for the boujee bride.
I am a California native turned San Diego-based travel & lifestyle blogger. I'm super passionate about creating content that shows people how to make the most of life in America's Finest City.
As an avid lover of tidepools, brunch, and rooftop drinks, I created this guide for my fellow brides and bridesmaids. We all know that planning the bachelorette party is one of the hardest parts of the whole wedding - coordinating schedules, agreeing on where to eat - all of that! So I've made it as easy as can be with this one-stop shop for the boujee bride!
This guide is for the boujee bride who wants to feel pampered, fancy, and have ample opportunities to dress up. San Diego has you covered!
Highlights of this guide include:
š Making a custom lipstick shade
š¦© Giant gold flamingo fishbowl cocktails
š Hotel pool passes
āµļø A private sailboat experience
It also includes options for accommodation, dining, activities, cocktails, wine/beer, & more!
San Diego county is over 4,000 square miles - there's lots of ground to cover & public transportation isn't great. This guide will help you centralize your home base, activities, food, and everything else!
When to do this trip: San Diego is beautiful any time of year. If the wedding timeline permits, I recommend trying to plan this trip during the "slow season" which is mid-January through March. Everything will be much more affordable and there won't be as many summer tourists in town.

As a former magazine editor, current freelance writer, and lifelong wanderluster, it is my job and passion to find and share incredible places, people, and things. A sweet small town in Sonoma County, Healdsburg is my happy place - so much so that I started a company to celebrate everything about it: @when.in.wine.country. Check out my favorite (kind of) fancy places to eat, drink, stay, and play in Wine Country.

Ligonchio, Reggio Emilia Apennines in Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
A perfect destination for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and those seeking to immerse themselves in local traditions and culture.
During the Second World War, the partisans crossed these paths, fighting for the future and the freedom of the following generations.
While we walk there, we must remember the importance of these places immersed in dense nature, which allowed those people to hide from the enemy.

THE DAY-BY-DAY GUIDE TO A PERFECT INTRODUCTION TO ROME š®š¹
I've been fortunate enough to visit Rome multiple times and even more fortunate to have been guided by true Italian friends. Here I take all that I've learned from those travels and distill it into one perfect 3-day introduction.
This itinerary is perfect for someone visiting Rome for the first time and then continuing on to other parts of Italy for the rest of your trip. You'll visit all the truly must-see sights like the Colosseum and the Vatican, but youāll do so at a pace that wonāt make you exhausted and miserable.
Generally I recommend that people spend even longer in Rome (because thereās just *so much* to see here), but I know the stats say 3 days is really typical. I completely understand. Europe is expensive and you want to make the most of your trip. But, I think you'll find that these 3 days barely scratch the surface of the Eternal City, and you'll be itching to come back to see (and eat) everything Rome has to offer!

A lot of people come through Purmamarca, Argentina on a day trip, and some others might spend one or two nights here. I stayed an entire week! Since my guest house only provided breakfast, and didnāt allow us to use the kitchen otherwise, I ate out all my lunches and dinners. I tried my best to go to a new restaurant for each meal. While certain things seem to be slightly more expensive in Purmamarca, such as lodging and laundry, the food prices tend to compare quite nicely to the rest of the region. Wondering where you should eat in Purmamarca? Check out the list below:

This guide actually includes places in both downtown Flushing and Murray Hill. Flushing is more known for its Chinese & Taiwanese influence, while Murray Hill is more known for its Korean influence.
People love going to K-Town in Manhattan, but many Korean Americans that I know advise to visit Flushingās K-Town! It's less saturated, authentic, and is a Korean community filled with delicious food options, Korean churches, karaoke spots, and Korean grocery stores.
This map includes my favorite places to grab a bite in Flushing & Murray Hill, including spots for Taiwanese classics, Asian food marts, dumplings, Indian food, desserts, Korean specialities, & more!
HEADS UP! This map is INCLUDED in my Flushing Food Crawl guide as a bonus, so if you're interested in these spots + the food crawl, grab that one from my shop instead!

Your trip to the Basque Country is incomplete without a trip to at least one of these beaches... That are not La Concha!
Most are easily accessible by public transit, and a few are a short walk away from a Metro station (the Greater Bilbao area has its own Metro system, connecting almost a million people)

Montreux is my hometown and I share here my ultimate itinerary if you only have one day in Montreux (+ some stuff to do if you do have more than one day!).
Montreux is a famous city in Western Switzerland, situated along the shores of the Lake Geneva. The two most famous events are The Montreux Jazz Festival and The Xmas Market. Definitely something you need to experience once in your lifetime! But Montreux attract people year round and is a beautiful and charming city to visit at anytime!

Iāve been living nomad for the last years, and here Iāll show how Iāve done it without spending money, earning it, instead!
Since I started living abroad, I received comments claiming that I'm rich or lucky. So I decided to write about my story with the aim to show how living this lifestyle can be aittanable for everybody and to show a bit more about me!
Don't expect to read about being a digital nomad, that's not the only way to live like that. There are many other possibilities to have a nomad lifestyle.
Hopefully, I get to inspire somebody to start pursuing their dreams, no matter how big they are, they can happen (I can tell), to get out from the auto-pilot we all live in, and to dare oneself to step out of the comfort zone! šāļø
I will talk about:
ā¢ How did I start living abroad?
ā¢ Places I have lived in so far
ā¢ How I keep having this lifestyle
ā¢ My best tip to live nomad
ā¢ The people I met along the journey
ā¢ What's next?

*Full transparency: this is not an ultra-budget guide. We include a range of free to paid activities in each place, a variety of restaurant options and mid-range priced accommodations (mostly Airbnbs). It's based on our own travel style which we'd consider "medium budget" - we like to save money but are also willing to splurge on certain comforts and activities. We believe there is valuable information for any type of traveller though!

This free guide serves to show you that The Netherlands is so much more than just Amsterdam! As a Dutch person, I think Amsterdam is highly overrated as a tourist destination. Locals have been forced out of the city centre and tourist shops have taken over. If you want an authentic experience of The Netherlands, I'd recommend reading the tips in this guide. And of course, if you really want to visit Amsterdam, you still can! ;)
