There are arguably several dozen bests for each of these categories but I narrowed it down to my absolute faves (and for me close-ish to the south side) bc honestly I just avoid north side traffic at absolutely all costs so there's that. Please don't @ me for leaving off any well deserving establishments ;)

Denver proudly boasts of an overwhelming 150 breweries in the city, but not all of the breweries are worth a visit. This guide will help you narrow down where to grab an afternoon beer, post up for the evening, or watch the sunrise (there is a specific bar for that). In addition, each location's happy hour and food options are noted with details about vegetarian options.
This guide includes:
▻ Bars (📍5 )
▻ Beer Gardens (📍5 )
▻ Big Breweries (📍5 )
▻ Dive Bars (📍5 )
▻ Microbreweries (📍5 )
Please note:
1. All of the locations listed are for chill and upbeat outings. If you are looking for a rowdy night out, one of these might serve as your first stop but not the main event.
2. I limited each section to 5 locations. However, there are definitely many great establishments that did not make the cut, especially in the "Bar" category. There is a huge variety of excellent bars in Denver. If you are looking for something specific, I would be happy to give you additional recommendations at a discounted consultation price.
3. The $ and $$ describe the average price of a drink, not the food.

Want some outdoor time in the Charlotte area? This guide has the best hiking trails within 90 minutes of Charlotte, NC. Check out what the Piedmont region of North + South Carolina can offer. (And yes, there ARE actual hikes, with elevation!!⛰)
I've hiked in or on every single one of these parks/forests/trails, so they have all been ✅APPROVED✅ by me. Trails range from just under 2 miles to 5+ miles. Some hikes offer high elevation exchanges, others are more level. All hikes offer LOTS of outdoor time!!
Each trail includes:
-Distance from CLT: drive-time to trailhead
-Trail Length: miles per hike
-Elevation gain: how many feet you’ll climb
-Route type: loop or out & back
✨Trail magic✨ may include:
-mountain vistas
-waterfalls
-skyline views of CLT
-lake, river, and stream views
-granite domes
-climbing opportunities
-historical ruins
-seasonal displays of rare flowers
Each location has AllTrails links to trails. Download the FREE app at: www.alltrails.com
‼️HOT TIP: Each hike is usually only one of many hikes available in the park or recreation area. Be sure to check out additional trails on the All Trails app.
This guide is ongoing and will be updated as I conquer more trails in the Charlotte, NC area. So come back for future hikes!
Thanks for your support and Hike On! 🥾

We've done extensive research on which restaurants are great (and didn't give us food poisoning), so you don't have to!
Everything is also dog-friendly except for the group activities.

“The Napa Valley of Beer.”
“The Munich of the West.”
Comparisons are tricky, but there is no doubt that the Denver craft beer scene is legendary. It has been around longer than most, dating back to the Gold Rush when beer did not travel or store well: it had to be made on-site, on-demand.
Home to the major Great American Beer Festival, the Mile High City has no shortage of brews to try — classic or experimental. You can easily plan an entire trip around only breweries… and hikes and fresh air… and more brews. It’s called balance.
