So here is the ultimate guide that explains all the neighbourhoods with their pros and cons, including my hotel recommendations for all budgets in each neighbourhood. If you book through the Booking link I added to each hotel, I'll be earning a bit of commission in return, so I'd be super happy if you book it through here. At the end of the list, you will also find my suggestions of where NOT to stay! So, shall we start?

I strongly believe that the best way to get in touch with the culture and traditions of a country is to visit different cities that identify it. As far as Spain is concerned, this concept is even stronger because Catalonia and Andalusia are similar in some ways but different in others and crossing different cities to get to know the different facets is the best thing and the one I recommend. This trip turned out to be wonderful and I hope it will be helpful to those who want to plan a tour similar to the one I did. Spain is a land that transmits positivity. The weather is almost always good and sunny, the people very sociable and helpful, the food very good and the culture very strong and identifying.
