Santorini splendor - 3 days unveiling the gems of the Mediterranean pearl
Santorini, a mesmerizing island in the Aegean Sea, is renowned for its breathtaking sunsets, dramatic cliffside villages, and stunning volcanic landscapes. Perched high above the azure waters of the caldera, the iconic whitewashed buildings of Oia and Fira offer picture-perfect views of the sea and neighboring islands.
Visitors can wander through narrow cobblestone streets, admiring the Cycladic architecture, colorful bougainvillea, and charming boutiques. Santorini's beaches, with their unique black, red, and white sands, invite relaxation and water sports, while the island's wineries offer tastings of its renowned Assyrtiko wine.

Who says Disney has the monopoly on magic? Welcome to Cappadocia, Turkey-- the most magical place on earth (in my humble opinion). Come with me to explore the surreal landscapes, history, and whimsy of Cappadocia, Turkey. It's much more than just pictures of hot air balloons that you'll want plastered all over your Insta stories.
Located in the central Anatolian region of Turkey, Cappadocia will be a place you want to come back to again and again. Of all of my travels, this city still holds first place in my favorite travel destinations, and I think you’ll know why soon.
Cappadocia is known for its unusual look and, of course, its hot air balloons, hundreds of which dot the sky every morning around sunrise. Aside from its aesthetic beauty, Cappadocia is home to some really amazing history that you can literally walk inside as you explore. From cave churches to underground cities to beautiful valleys, the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia should definitely be at the top of your bucket list.
In this guide, you'll find all you need to plan your trip to Cappadocia, Turkey-- options for any and all budgets! (Included: a list of basic information for travel to Turkey, how to get around, personally curated places to go, stay and eat, as well as a 4 day sample itinerary)

For my first solo trip to Italy, I picked Milan for a few different reasons. During my trips, I focus on architecture, culture, and art. Milan's architecture and art are key attractions, with the city playing a significant role in Italy's architectural and artistic history. It has also been a birthplace for several modern art movements. Though few remnants of the Roman era remain, the well-preserved Colonne di San Lorenzo stands out. Milan's Cathedral, constructed between 1386 and 1877, is the largest church in Italy and the third largest in the world.
Milan is acknowledged as one of the world's top four fashion capitals. The city is home to the headquarters of several renowned luxury fashion brands. It also hosts major international events and exhibitions, including Milan Fashion Week.
It may not be the typical Italian little village, but insted it is a city filled with a long, beautiful history to be discovered. And in this itinerary, I will provide you with a step-by-step guide, highlighting the most important spots.

Cuba dazzles, enchants, and lures you in with its melancholic beauty, vibrant culture, and gracious people. It's a place of eternal contrasts, where decay and elegance, real and surreal, live side by side — in its art, streets, politics, and way of life. Nowhere is its character more on display than in Havana. Narrow streets lined with crumbling mansions and pastel-colored vintage cars, parades of trumpeting musicians and gyrating stilt dancers, and the Habaneros for whom the streets are part of life. Around every corner, a new layer is peeled back to reveal yet another unexpected delight in this city of endless intrigue.
Our CityKITS gently nudge travelers off the trodden path, encouraging positive-impact exploration that’s a win-win for travelers, local communities, and the environment.
The CityKIT includes:
- 5 recommended conscious boutique hotels and residences in Havana
- 5 favorite spots for Coffee & Nibbles
- 4 favorite lunch spots.
- 6 favorite restaurants to grab dinner
- 6 cool bars and rooftop terraces
- 5 suggestions for walks and exploration in the city
- 8 locally immersive and offbeat experiences in Tbilisi
- 7 places for art and design lovers
- 5 recommended places to shop
- 3 recommended tours and tour guides

I created this guide for the Airbnb "Hillside Getaway" (link below) with food and outdoor enthusiasts in mind and those wanting to experience the cultural side of Portland.
Although my childhood hometown has changed a lot over the years, Portland is still the vibrant, artsy, cultured city I've always known. The "Rose City" has so much to offer—a great food and music scene, the outdoors, and an independent spirit—surrounded by forests and set between two rivers, the peaks of the Cascades, and the Pacific Ocean. This environmentally conscious city has a good rail system with miles of bike paths and walking trails.
Virtual explorers and trip planners alike, explore Portland with this interactive guide. Check out what to SEE + DO, places to DRIVE + RIDE, and where to EAT + DRINK around this river city in the northwestern corner of Oregon.
This list is far from exhausted and will continue to expand. Click places and links to learn more.

When I say the word “Gettysburg,” what’s the very first thing that comes to mind? I’d be willing to wager that for around 95% of you, you’d say “the battlefield.”
And indeed, the battlefield is a big part of Gettysburg—over 6,000 acres to be exact. However, this charming destination has SO MUCH to offer that goes far beyond the battlefield. It remains one of my favorite mid-Atlantic weekend trips.
This guide aims to hit all of Gettysburg’s historical highlights, while also taking you on some unexpected turns as well.
In this itinerary you'll find:
🍎 Local Farms and Markets
🚲 Fun Activities
🍽️ Restaurant Recommendations
🏛️ Top Historical Sights
🏨 My Top Hotel Picks
---and more---
Time needed: 24-48 hours
(you can hand-pick your favorites for a day trip, or stay the night and hit everything)
Best time to visit: Year round, but April through November is particularly nice
Best suited for: Couples, Girlfriend Getaway, Families, Friends, Solo Travelers
I know you are going to LOVE this Gettysburg Getaway!
