I am absolutely in love with Uluwatu. When I first came to Bali, I travelled around a lot, but when I eventually came to Uluwatu, I extended and EXTENDED. Here, you find the BEST BEACHES in Bali, and the most BEAUTILFUL SUNSETS from the many surrounding CLIFFS.

At first sight I would say that there are a lot of youger people, which is true, but there is also more older people than you think. Imagine mid-aged men and women who decided to live a bohemian simple life. They live in Uluwatu. The investors and realtor people who can work online, or has retired, they live here. And Uluwatu is the hub for slow, beach days, and it is here we find all types of travellers, families, couples, older people and young adults. Uluwatu is perfect for all ages.(My favorite part about Uluwatu is that it´s filled with incredibly creative people; business owners, painters, singers, surfers, jewelry and clothing designers... the list is infinite! Come here to get inspired and make connections;))

You probably know, Bali is filled with a lot of influencers and models. This is where they dump the overflow. Come and find your next treasure, and give back to nature<3

This is a must, if you want to get insight in Bali´s culture. Uluwatu Temple is located on the most beautiful cliff edge on the most southern part of Bali and Uluwatu. The temple is insanely cool filled with a lot of history and stories, but it is also still a religious place for offerings today. Stay here to watch the sunset, it is the most amazing spot in Uluwatu for that. And to get the deeper knowledge and an entertaining show, go watch the Kecak Fire Show. The show is inbedded with a religious story and you might experience some heat;)

Make sure to book the tickets a few days before since it´s super popular!

Uluwatu is the Bali hub for surfers. You can find anything from beginner spots to professional surfing spots here. There are tons of surfing instructors for $18 per hour. I promise, you will find them in every corner! You can also rent boards for $7 per hour if you don´t need an instructor.I´ll mention more about surf spots under "Beaches";)

The beaches are the main attraction in Uluwatu, and most likely, this is where you want to spend most of your time when being here. Keep reading for the best spots!

If your Bali adventure is crazy hectic and you just want a movie night, the cinemas in Bali are super cheap! $3 for a movie! 

Pool tournaments on Wednesdays! Super fun and interactive, amazing to meet friends and just to vibe with excited people. They have the most amazing cocktails (and food)!!

People come from all of Bali to see the DJs that perform here. It´s everything from Alesso, Axwell, Calvin Harris, Fisher, Will Sparks, Hardwell and many more! Located with the most amazing sunset view, on one of Uluwatu´s cliffs.Here, you have to buy pretty expensive tickets to get in on the popular days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but it´s cheaper on weekdays. You can also get to know locals and get on a free guest list;)

Here is one of the two most authentic party scenes in Uluwatu (according to me;)). Single Fin is the place for bangers everyone knows and a lot of dancing. It is also located on a cliff which makes it perfect for sunset drinks and watching the surfers right in front of you.Come here on Wednesdays and ESPECIALLY Sundays!!

Number two on the most authentic party scenes of Uluwatu! Here, every Thursday, you dance along to the BEST live bands of Bali, covering on classics, bangers and new songs. It is a VIBE!

On Tuesdays we dance SALSA!Rolling fork is on fire! This is the most happy and upbeat, alive scene you will find during the nights of Uluwatu. This amazing latin LIVE BAND plays for you all night, with someone in the audience starting like a Salsa course on the dance floor. Everyone joins in and eventually everyone dances like crazy. Salsa, or whatever moves it is, everyone is having a blast! And don´t be surprised if the band plays some bangers;)

When dinner or the first party is over, we move over to the nightclub/ bar Tabu!Tabu is on fire on Wednesdays, Thursdays, especially Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (but might also be on Tuesdays, so like often;)). Live DJ every night, people are dancing and are having a blast!

Themes every night, everything from Classic´s (60s-90s), Game Night, Ladies Night, House, Techno, Hip-Hop and Salsa.They have fun activities like beerpong, table tennis, pool and Mario Kart and food courts too. This is everything you need!

No matter what day it is, you can expect it to be busy here!

Wednesdays beer pong tournament and on Fridays ladies drink for free!;) This is the place for the younger party crowd, so if you´re 18-25, you´ll love it... aaaand... also if you´re 25-35 too probably. It´s all vibes!

Bali is the home of AMAZING food. I´m going to give you my favorite spots.Ulu Artisian

The most stunning beach on Bali´s south coast. Clear turquoise water and easy to swim in (with some reefy parts, but way better than the rest;)). Come here for absolute relaxment, and enjoy a fruit platter in one of the beach restos;)

This beach is so wild, long and beautiful. You can either drive all the way down or walk, and it´s a tropical paradise. The only negative is that is is quite much reef going on, but they´re beautiful (and perfect for photoshoots;)).

This is probably the easiest beach to be on in Uluwatu, with sand bottom and almost no reef at all. A little resto and some beach chairs for you to enjoy, and why not rent a surf board? 

The perfect beach for beginner´s surf, monkeys and warungs on the beach (local food, coconuts and fruit;)). 

This is the coolest beach in Uluwatu. Climb down the stairs to this cave and be amazed by the view. But before you go down, Google "Uluwatu Beach Tides" (see link), cuz if it´s high tide, there is no beach;) If low tide, you have one beach to the left and one to the right, you just gotta find the cave entrance to get there;)

My top one obsession;) This is quality food. Their sourdough and their scrambled eggs are one of a kind. As well as their dinner food is amazing! This is my all time favorite.

The most cozy beach for sunset. Eat a lovely dinner at Lucky Fish, take a dip or just enjoy the view in front of you.
