Tbilisi: A City That Feels Like a Secret Waiting to Be Discovered Welcome to my carefully curated guide to Tbilisi, where industrial-chic hotels, hip coworking spaces, street-side cafes, and hidden art spaces come together to create a city brimming with character. This is my current hometown, a place where every corner invites discovery—whether it’s a hole-in-the-wall marionette theater or an off-the-grid courtyard café only locals seem to know about. Tbilisi is where old-world charm meets a raw, urban edge—cobblestone streets and ancient baths coexist effortlessly with sleek galleries and modern design hotels. It’s a city of contrasts, bridging the surreal and the everyday with ease. Georgia, too, reflects this duality: warm and whimsical, steeped in history yet buzzing with fresh creative energy, long past the shadow of its Soviet past. This guide isn’t just a list of places—it’s an invitation to uncover the essence of Tbilisi. I’ve spotlighted the places I love most: Where to Stay: Design-forward hotels with a nod to tradition. Where to Eat: From cozy bakeries to contemporary Georgian kitchens. What to Explore: Art spaces, quirky theaters, and streets that tell stories. Experiences to Book: Tours and immersive experiences—from food and wine tastings to art walks and cultural excursions—ensuring you connect deeply with the heart of the city. The guide includes a curated map to help you navigate the city with ease, whether you’re here for a quick getaway or a longer stay. This isn’t a checklist—it’s an invitation to explore the hidden charm, creative pulse, and untold stories of a city designed for discovery. Here's a glimpse: • 6 design-led, sustainable hotels • 3 swanky apartment rentals • 6 top spots for coffee and nibbles • 9 lunch spots • 15 dinner spots • 5 evening hotspots • 5 suggested neighborhood walkabouts • 10 must-do/must-see city experiences • 10 handpicked shops • 6 tour suggestions

Out of all the places I adore in France, Nice and its surrounding areas truly has my heart. This is where I dream of retiring. You're still very much in France - BUT: The people are noticeably friendlier than in Paris (no shade to Parisians, I love them too), the weather is delightful, the beaches are gorgeous, and the food has a lighter, Mediterranean flair (as opposed to the heavy dairy-based recipes typical in much of France). If 6 days sounds like a lot to you, never fear: This itinerary uses Nice as a home base and includes many day-trip options. Guide includes: 📍 High Level Plan ✨ General Tips 🍅 7 Food & Drinks Not to Miss 🧼 7 Souvenir or Gift Ideas 🍴 10 restaurant/bar recs in Nice (5 cheaper, 3 mid-range, 2 higher end) 🗒️ 6-day Itinerary: 3 days in Nice (including arrival & departure days, and 1 full-day in Nice with two morning options & 2 afternoon options), and 3 days for half-day trips, full-day trips, or a free day* 🗺️ 7 additional options for your half or full-day trips from Nice or for your free day 💚 Pro Tips *I suggest 1 full-day trip, 1 day split between 2 half-day trips, and 1 day of free time. These do not overlap with the 7 additional options for half and full-day trips, You also get: ✍️ My personal notes for each recommendation 📍 An interactive map of all recommendations 🔓 Access to all future updates (I love Nice and keep going back) 🎞️ Linked videos (where applicable) that bring recommendations and advice to life 💙 If you love this guide, I would really appreciate it if you shared it with a friend, left a great review, or contributed a tip.

If my best friend would ask me "which island in Thailand should I visit?" I would definitely recommend Ko Tao with no doubt. Why? It has everything you need and it has vibes that you cannot find in the famous sisters islands: Koh Phangan & Koh Samui. It’s known for the best beaches in Thailand with crystal clear water and soft sand ideal for swimming & snorkelling. We lived there for a month ‘cause we really wanted to feel like a local and explore most of the places. In this guide made for slow travellers like me I’ll recommend you: • where to stay to enjoy the best beaches • delicious vegetarian/vegan restaurants & cafe • sustainable survival shops & souvenirs • how to be part of the community even if only for a short time • and much more I wish you to experience Thailand in the most genuine way to come back home full of life. 🫶🏻 ***Don't forget to download Thatch app to access full features and to save this map for future use! Remember this is an interactive guide which means when you click on a place in the map you can directly open directions on your phone's Google Maps app, call restaurants or book hotels. 📢 This guide will be regularly updated — save it, subscribe to my profile & stay tuned! ✨
