Genova, a gem nestled on the sparkling Ligurian Sea, vibrates with a life force unlike any other. This captivating port city, cradled between the embrace of Italy and France, offers an experience that belies its size.
Within its historic walls, grand palaces adorned with frescoes stand sentinel next to bustling harborfronts, and the scent of freshly baked focaccia mingles with the salty tang of the sea breeze. Hi!
I created a detailed 12-day itinerary to discover Madeira on a budgetfriendly way.
I travelled solo to Madeira in november 2022. Since I like to take my time to see things, meet new people and adventure I focus on following things:
1) Hostels, they are the best way to meet new people.
2) I love hiking so get ready for some beautiful hiking trails and wildcamping.
3) I use public transport, since this is a lot cheaper than renting a car. I give you advice on how to get there and how long it takes.
4) Tips and tricks on what to do and what not to. I recommend places I've been to myself but also places I heard great things about but didn't visit.
5) I love taking pictures so enjoy some travel pictures I took myself :)
I discovered beautiful places and fell in love with Madeira, so I hope you do too!

Valletta is one of my favorite places to visit. It has history, charm, and lots of colorful doors. Best of all it has lots of good establishments scattered around the city and I've hand picked the best ones for you!
(Bonus: lots of them even have a charming 'hole in the wall' vibe. ✨)

Liguria is one of my favorite regions in Italy and there is so much more to Liguria than just Cinque Terre. Surrounded by picturesque colored villages perched on the cliff tops, a crystalline coastline, and a constellation of idyllic gulfs, there is much to explore. This guide covers what typical foods are in Liguria, where to go, and itineraries for Portovenere, Cinque Terre, Santa Margherita Ligure, Genoa, and more! Updating constantly!

Although less famous than its Andalusian neighbours (Seville, Córdoba and Granada), Málaga is no slouch in terms of history and culture: its 3,000 years of history make it one of the oldest cities in Europe. A stroll through the historic centre is a journey through time through the Phoenician, Roman, Arab and Christian eras, with attractions such as the 1st-century Roman Theatre, the 11th-century Arab Alcazaba, the 16th-century Gibralfaro Castle (built on the ruins of a Phoenician lighthouse) and the Málaga Cathedral, one of the finest examples of the Andalusian Renaissance. Just to whet your appetite.

Banaras is considered to be one of the oldest cities in the world and the abode of the Hindu God -- Shiva. In ancient texts, it has been referred to as Kashi. In the present times, it is also known as Varanasi.
In Hinduism, it is even considered that only the fortunate ones get to visit the city. It is a highly spiritual place which I was lucky enough to visit. Because it was not just another trip, but an experience I will remember forever!
In this guide, I have listed all the places to experience Banaras at its fullest!

I first visited Iceland 3 years ago after getting an internship out of nowhere. And since then I been coming back year after year discovering the country more and falling in love even deeper.
Iceland is the crazy combination of fire and ice, pure nature, crazy landscape and unbelievably welcoming people. Friends and family always asked me for recommendations and like that, I eventually came to make this 4-day itinerary that I'd like to share with you. It's perfect if you are on a tight schedule but still want to make the most out of it
The itinerary is with renting a camper or a car in mind. If you want to travel to Iceland without a car check out my other guide on car-free and budget Iceland. You can do it solo or with as many people as you can fit in a car. You can either choose a budget version with camping or be more comfortable with apartments on the way. For example, if you were to travel with a friend the cheapest option would be renting 4x4 and camping with your own tents.
What you'll find in this guide
✔️Day-to-day itinerary
✔️Recommendation for car rental
✔️Recommendation for activities
✔️Budget estimate for different styles (camping, camper van, hostels, hotels)
✔️Accommodation recommendations for camping grounds
What you won't find in this guide
✖️Recommendations for restaurants (depends on your taste and budget)

❗️❗️ If there's one thing I'll never get tired of repeating in all my gastronomic guides about Italy, it's that "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ITALIAN FOOD". Our incredible peninsula is characterized by regional cuisine, that varies due to historical, traditional, cultural, and environmental factors of a specific territory.
For this reason, every place will have something special that can and should be enjoyed exclusively there.
FYI: Often there are even dishes specific to only one city or village.
In this guide, we'll explore UMBRIA and all its culinary secrets. An incredible list of more than 20 traditional dishes that you must try there, each one on them explained. Tips on restaurants, small eateries, shops and street food stalls where to find them. Ending with a little surprise, but ... NO SPOILERS 😁 😁
