All the places we visited on our 71 day road trip. The route went down from Calais on the west of France for a week including another week in the Pyrenees. The north of Spain and Basque region for around 2 weeks. Down through Portugal including Porto, Lisbon and the Algarve for around 4 weeks. A few spots in the south of Spain from the drive back home which took us 10 days. Finally finishing in Bruges, Belgium. I strongly believe that the best way to get in touch with the culture and traditions of a country is to visit different cities that identify it. As far as Spain is concerned, this concept is even stronger because Catalonia and Andalusia are similar in some ways but different in others and crossing different cities to get to know the different facets is the best thing and the one I recommend. This trip turned out to be wonderful and I hope it will be helpful to those who want to plan a tour similar to the one I did. Spain is a land that transmits positivity. The weather is almost always good and sunny, the people very sociable and helpful, the food very good and the culture very strong and identifying.

Sevilla, this cute little city, is like a gluten-free gold mine. My holiday vibes there were top-notch – people are sweet, and the whole scene is just easygoing. Now, let's talk food. I went all in on Mexican and Caribbean eats, had cakes that were pure bliss, and those smoothies? Let's just say they were liquid happiness. Sevilla, you're a gluten-free foodie's dream come true! 🍰🌮🍹

Nestled on a cliff and separated by a gorge with two impressive neoclassical bridges spanning the 120 meter chasm, I can't think of another locale in Europe with a more dramatic location than Ronda. If you visit Andalusia and do not have time to stay overnight, Ronda is one of the best places to take a day trip in the South of Spain. Of course you could go with a tour group, but these groups tend to be quite large and don't provide a full experience of the town. If you are looking to craft your own day trip to Ronda, you came to the right place!

Travelling is expensive: flight tickets, hotels, activities, food, souvenirs, etc. Regarding your revenues, you have to fix a budget. For my boyfriend and I, the budget for flight tickets is a maximum of 250€ for two people (only in Europe). In general, we pay less than 150€. For hotels, it is less than 100€/night. Two years ago, when we were students, the hotel budget was about 90€/night maximum. In a few words, travelling isn't impossible for a low budget.
