Due to the expansiveness of Patagonia - over 400,000 square miles - and the fact it encompasses the southern end of South America, governed by Argentina and Chile; this is one of the more remote places to reach in the world.
The region comprises the southern section of the Andes Mountains with lakes, fjords, temperate rainforests, and glaciers in the west and deserts, tablelands and steppes to the east.
This itinerary was designed to experience a couple key areas of Patagonia on both the Argentinian side and the Chilean side; in a condensed amount of time.
The focus of the itinerary is on Glaciers National Park, outside of El Calafate; and Torres del Paine National Park in Chile.
The itinerary easily combines both countries, however, you can separate them out if you just want to focus on one area of Patagonia, and expand your touring from there.
The itinerary will include additional places to say based on budget, mid-budget and luxury accomodations; as well as recommended restaurants, and optional tours and activities.

I've lived in Puerto Rico for over a year now and even though it's a small island there is a lot to see, do, and eat! When moving, my husband and I wanted to be in action so we chose the metro area of San Juan as our home base.
We are extremely close to Viejo San Juan and even though it can be a bit touristy, I always recommend it for first timers to the island!
In this free guide, you will get a sample of what my paid guides have to offer.
I've handpicked cafes, brunch, dessert, spots for sightseeing, a few bars (future guide for that one), local tips, and more!
Viejo San Juan can definitely be seen in a full day, as long as you have comfortable shoes! But, you can also split this guide up for multiple visits.

The Southwest United States generally refers to Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and the surrounding areas of the states surrounding those states. Due to the vast amount of untouched land in each of these states, there is ample opportunity for camping and exploring. This list has our favorite free campsites in the area, for those of you who just want to hit the road and relax in the desert. Many of these camps are owned and operated by the Bureau of Land Management. Be sure to always practice Leave No Trace when camping in a free campground, as they often don’t have the level of maintenance supplied by paid campsites.

This is a simple, flexible, 3-day itinerary for a budget traveler. It also includes a list of places to stay, both hostels and hotels, that are affordable but high-quality. Make sure to check the detailed descriptions for each place. Also, be sure to read all hostel/hotel descriptions to make sure you book exactly what you're looking for!
This guide is organized as having at least one thing from each of the following categories for each day: culture/history/art, outdoors, & food/drink/nightlife. For museums, I try to include about how long to plan. This guide is organized by day, but not necessarily time. The activities included in each day should fill your time but not leave you feeling rushed. Feel free to mix the order of things as it works for you.
Please be aware that a few of these places overlap with my paid guide "Art, Culture, History: A Collection of Must-Dos in Berlin". However, some of my favorite spots didn't fit in this itinerary but they are available there. Therefore, if you'd like to buy that guide for some extra ideas, enjoy 15% off with code BERLIN15!
To make sure you have the BEST possible experience in Berlin and other parts of Europe, I offer personalized travel services such as consultation calls, itineraries, and curated lists. Check out my travel shop to learn more and feel free to email me at autumnmarietravels@gmail.com!

Explore Lyon's artisanal boulangeries, where the essence of baking is an art form. These locally-owned gems offer a genuine treat, embodying dedication to quality ingredients and the craft of baking. Whether you lean towards organic, biodynamic, or conventional choices, Lyon's boulangeries cater to every palate. And when it comes to pastries, each bakery has its own specialty, from croissants and pain au chocolat to canelé.
So, if you're like me—someone who relishes quality engages in meticulous research (the quality control has been done), and finds joy in exploring Lyon's boulangeries—this guide is your perfect companion.

*Full transparency: this is not an ultra-budget guide. We include a range of free to paid activities in each place, a variety of restaurant options and mid-range priced accommodations (mostly Airbnbs). It's based on our own travel style which we'd consider "medium budget" - we like to save money but are also willing to splurge on certain comforts and activities. We believe there is valuable information for any type of traveller though!
