Most travelers would hate long layovers but NEVER in Singapore! I can prove that with this guide. :)
Iโve been lucky enough to experience multiple layovers and trips in this incredible โCity in a Gardenโ. With itโs seamless immigration process and efficient transportation system, youโll be out of the airport and into the heart of Singapore in no time.
With that said, Iโve got multiple itineraries here for you:
1. AIRPORT ITI: For when you have a shorter layover and want to stay at the airport (less than 6 hours)
2. FUTURISTIC: For those interested in cityscapes and the futuristic side of Singapore
3. CULTURAL: For those interested in Singaporeโs cultural hotspots
Depending on how you manage your time you may do all three for long layovers, but please be mindful of your flight schedule. The last thing we want to happen is for you to be too entertained in Singapore that you miss your flight.
Now, brace yourself for an exhilarating layover in Singapore. Let me be your guide and show you all the fantastic options to make the most of your brief stay.

Jaipur, known as the Pink City is the capital of Rajasthan where the royal family still resides. For any tourist visiting Rajasthan, this guide will help you with a mix of culture, Jaipur's awesome hospitality, a list of activities to do, places to visit, cool hangout spots and some lovely workshops to explore local crafts, how to travel around and where to stay based on your budget. Don't forget to take souvenirs home.
This is a very action packed guide with many things to do in Jaipur and is very wholesome. You can use it like a Bible and I promise you won't regret. It will save you time and money in Jaipur.
My personal vibe is a little more into boutique and luxurious places that are highly aesthetic which have a more international feel with cultural growth, hence my suggestions are all very comfortable and highly eye catching.
Also feel free to reach out to me if you need any more specific information.I hope this helps

Rishikesh is the yoga capital of the world. On the other hand, it is an adventure hub.
Nestled in the mystical embrace of the Himalayas, Rishikesh, a vibrant Indian town, is a haven for seekers, offering a kaleidoscope of ashrams and temples along the Ganges River. Here, the rhythmic chants of yogis harmonize with the adrenaline-fueled thrills of white-water rafting on the Ganges rapids.
Rishikesh is a canvas where mysticism dances with adventure, creating an intoxicating blend that captivates the soul and ignites the spirit.
It has a long history associated with sages, the holy river Ganges, yoga, meditation, and the famous British rock-music band The Beatles.
I have been to Rishikesh innumerable times in my life and I just can't get enough of it!
In this guide, I have listed all the places (excluding adventure), some famous and some hidden gems, in and around Rishikesh! So whether it's serene vibes you are seeking, detox time for your body, or just want to enchanted by the spiritual spirit of the city, this guide will be helpful.
Check it out.

Ultimate Copenhagen Guide: Everything you need to know when going to Copenhagen
Welcome to my city!
I created the ultimate guide with more than 200 selected things to do, see and taste as a result of more than 21 years living in this city.
When people think of Denmark, they often picture the statue of the little mermaid, Tivoli amusement park and lots of bikes. And while Copenhagen is all of that, thereโs also much more to the city.
Included are the best places to see between:
- Castles
- Churches
- Parks
- Hidden gems
- Museums & Galleries
- Panoramic points
- Best restaurants, unique cafes, street food, brunch
- Suggested itineraries
& more
Here you'll also find general information of the city, how to get around, what not to do and frequently asked questions, as well as suggested itineraries.
Do you have any question? Send me a DM on Instagram @worldofsofiab or an email to world.of.sofiab@gmail.com
Happy exploring!
*** Disclosure:
For attractions, I provide GetYourGuide and Booking.com links where possible. I myself love the vendors as you can keep all your tickets/stays in one place (even better with the Copenhagen card), you also get instant confirmation and can cancel for a full refund up to 24 hours before your planned activity/stay - this is a major benefit in a city like Copenhagen where the weather can dictate your itinerary.
Using the links provided also help me as a small business, as I make a small commission with no additional charge to you!

A 2024 Travel + Leisure city to visit, Cartagena should be on your must-see list for South America. Retaining it's Spanish charm yet decidedly Caribbean in it's vibe, Cartagena is a short flight from the US and a great spot to getaway for a long weekend. Beautiful old town, lively beaches, and islands off the coast providing a little bit of paradise.
Check out my favorite ways to spend 3 days in Cartagena!

London has this way of wrapping you up in its energy while giving you just enough space to breathe. Itโs like catching up with an old friend whoโs full of stories and always up for a spontaneous adventure. The city pulses with life, but somehow, you can still find those little pockets of calm when you need them.
Thereโs something magical about Londonโs rhythmโitโs a blend of constant motion and relaxed charm. Every street corner seems to have its own little story, and the people are as varied and fascinating as the city itself. Itโs the kind of place where you can dive into the buzz or find a quiet moment to just be, depending on what youโre craving.
London feels like a city thatโs always in tune with you, offering up new experiences while making you feel like youโre right where you belong.

New to the area? Sick of your regular spots? Fairfield County is Connecticut's gold coast and there's lots to explore.
I moved to Darien, Connecticut, when I was around six years old, and aside from a couple of years when we lived in Hong Kong - it's where I called home for the majority of my life! After five years in Chicago, my fiancรฉ and I moved to Stamford in 2023, and honestly, really struggled to find our footing at first.
We were spoiled rotten when it came to our selection of high-quality, (relatively) low-cost restaurants in Chicago. After about a year of living in CT again, there are good spots - you just have to dig a little deeper to find them.
Look no further - here's my list of tried and true eateries. From upscale restaurants to delis - this guide has you covered! If I've missed anything or if you need recommendations on anything else - let me know!

Everything you need as a vegetarian or vegan in Seoul. ๐ฑ I'll keep it real, folks: It's not *easy* but it's manageable.
Contents:
30+ vegan-friendly restaurants and cafes, useful apps and phrases, and street food options. Basically: Everything I learned from 28 days as a vegetarian traveller in South Korea (and dozens of hours of research).
๐ฑ 30+ VEGAN FRIENDLY RESTAURANTS
This interactive map makes navigating Seoul's vegan and vegetarian food scene easier. ๐ But because Google Maps isn't always reliable in South Korea, you'll also find NaverMap links for every location.
๐บ๏ธ ORGANISED BY NEIGHBOURHOOD
Hungry in Insadong? Or want to visit Itaewon but not sure what's available for you? No problem. I've listed each restaurant by neighbourhood.
I've included recommendations in 10 different neighbourhoods including:
- Myeong-dong | ๋ช
๋
- Yeonnam-dong | ์ฐ๋จ๋
- Hongdae | ํ๋
- Yongsan | ์ฉ์ฐ
- Gangnam | ๊ฐ๋จ
- Seongsu | ์ฑ์
- Jongno (near Gyeongbokgung Palace) | ์ข
๋ก
- and more!
๐ฑ CATEGORISED
Each spot is marked as 'vegan', 'vegan options' and 'vegetarian-friendly' so you know what to expect (look out for the little ๐ฑ plant emoji). I've also categorised whether it's a cafe '๐ฐ' or a restaurant '๐ด'.
I've also included what kind of food you can expect to find at each location.
๐ซก STREET FOOD OPTIONS
15+ Korean street food options for vegetarians and a smaller list (5 options) for vegans.
๐ฌ HELPFUL PHRASES: Because most Koreans don't know the restrictions linked to vegetarianism and veganism, it's often necessary to explain your restrictions. To make this a bit easier, I've included simple phrases you can adapt for your restrictions (and vocabulary).
---
โ๏ธ ๐ค Being a veggie foodie is totally possible in Seoul, it just takes a little extra planning. With this guide, I have no doubt you'll have an incredible foodie experience.
๐ข This Seoul foodie guide will be regularly updated so be sure to save it and follow @StormOnTheHorizon (everywhere๐ฒ) for updates.

When I say I am from New York, most people think of the City. But little do people know there is more to New York than just the City. Growing up in Northern New York, I was very fortunate to live so close to the Adirondaks and the Green Mountains of Vermont. And for seven years lived over near Western New York in Rochester. I also lived in Plainfield, NH for 6 months and I lived in Newton, Massachusetts for 3 months. So, I have a vast knowledge of nature around New York State and some of the Northeast, or New England. I hope this gives you some great hikes to check out whenever you venture to the Northeast! I love photography, so the cover photos are taken by yours truly.
