24 hours in Brighton, UK | An itinerary

Lauren Fowler
Before setting off on a worldwide travel adventure, Brighton was my home for nearly 15 years. Brighton is around 1 hour from London on the train and is a beautiful seaside town with its own unique personality and style. There are as many pubs and bars as there are days in the year and every type of cuisine you can imagine from Korean to Mexican, Spanish to Indian and everything in between. I love Brighton and I know you'll love it too. Here's an in-depth guide to the perfect 24 hours in brilliant Brighton 🇬🇧 Included: vintage & boutique shopping recommendations, jewellery quarter, beachside venues, the best pubs & bars, 15 restaurant recommendations depending on your choice of cuisine, luxury hotels, breakfast spots, seaside favourites and things to see & do.

From the train station it's tempting to head down towards the seafront but you don't want to miss out on the vintage stores, flea markets, boutique stores and music shops. So, instead as you leave the station turn right, then once you reach the road turn left, under the archway and down Trafalgar Street.

Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach Sydney Street on your right, this is where you should start your afternoon by browsing some unique boutiques, vintage stores and homeware havens.

Vintage finds & unique boutiques

I've selected some of my favourite stores along Sydney Street and Kensington Gardens but there are so many great little independent places to browse, selling everything from comic books and unique stationary to vintage denim and exotic plants.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Lauren Fowler
After living in Brighton, UK for almost 15 years, myself & my fiancé Carl, set out on our very own travel adventure in June 2021. After spending the first 8 months travelling around Europe we then headed for South East Asia, where we totally fell in love with Thailand, more specifically, Koh Samui. We split our time equally now between Koh Samui & Europe, and work with local businesses to enhance and improve their social media whilst also promoting them through my online guides, blogs and ebooks.
