Ultimate Singapore Layover Itinerary
AIRPORT Itinerary:
If you only have a short layover in Singapore, worry not. Changi Airport is renowned for its world-class facilities and you’ll be exploring the world’s best airport!
If you have checked baggage and want to explore luggage-free, make use of the storage services available 24/7 at all 4 Terminals.
Once you’ve kept your luggage safe, time to explore Changi Airport:
Tallest Indoor Waterfall
Head on to Jewel Changi Airport connected to Terminal 1 and check out the HSBC Rain Vortex - the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.
The Jewel is also a multi-dimensional nature-themed entertainment and retail complex so you can stroll through lush gardens and enjoy a delicious meal at one of the various dining options.
Canopy Park
Experience a range of exciting attractions like the Sky Nets, Hedge Maze, and Discovery Slides. Don’t miss the Canopy Bridge, offering a stunning view of the Jewel. These activities could already burn about 2 hours of your time if you do all of it.
Cactus Garden
This is a rooftop garden in Terminal 1 airside (past immigrations) that has over 100 species of cacti and arid plants from Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Sunflower Garden
Enjoy the bright and cheery sunflowers at Terminal 2 airside, and bask in the sun for a bit in this rooftop garden.
T3 Slide
The world’s tallest slide in an airport at Terminal 3 is four storeys high and open for kids and adults alike.
FUTURISTIC City:
If you’re planning to venture into the city, the most convenient and efficient way to get around is by using the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. Changi Airport is well connected to the MRT network.
To get into the Futuristic side of Singapore, hop on the East-West Line (Green Line) and alight at Bayfront Station.
Gardens by the Bay
Make your way to Gardens by the Bay, a stunning horticultural wonderland. Explore the iconic Supertree Grove, walk along the OCBC Skyway for panoramic views.
Magical Cloud Forest
Step into the awe-inspiring Cloud Forest and Flower Dome conservatories. Check out my experience at the Cloud Forest here:

The Iconic Merlion
This part-lion, part-fish mythical creature is Singapore’s national icon and can be found as you continue your walk around the bayfront towards One Fullerton, SIngapore near the Central Business District. Take cliche photos here and that’s already wild proof that you’ve been in Singapore!
CULTURAL Hotspots:
Chinatown
Singapore's China Town is one of the cleanest and most organized China Towns I've been. With lots of pretty corners, shops, and cafes — you can easily spend hours upon hours here!
Buddha Tooth Relic
This beautifully architectured building is a Buddhist temple and museum complex located in the Chinatown district of Singapore. Admission to the temple and Saturday's weekly-guided tours are free of charge.
Foodie Spot
Oh we love hawker centers and if you're visiting the Buddha Tooth relic, you'll find Maxwell food center just across! Try out some local delights, make sure you've got local cash.
Colorful Little India
Singapore's Little India is a foodie and a shopping heaven as well as a cultural spot. You'll find contemporary art around as well as colorful Hindu temples.
This picturesque Chinese mansion is one of the highlights in Singapore's Little India. Make sure to snap a selfie or two as it's super pretty!
Heart of Kampong Glam
This beautiful mosque is located right in heart of Kampong Glam district. Stroll around and you'll find plenty of places to eat and and shop at!
Instagrammable Haji Lane
Haji Lane is Instagram famous for its colorful street murals that are gonna pop up your IG feed, but we loved hanging out in this bustling street for for some food, drinks and a little bit of shopping.
