Lives in Torino, Metropolitan City of Turin, Italy
Ready to experience an Italy beyond what you've seen on a screen? Having lived in Italy for over 12 years, I love sharing the special moments that make each distinct Italian region stand out. The best part of traveling to Italy is discovering a whole new world in each region you visit. 🍷Located in Piedmont, I specialize in Northern Italy travel, with a focus on wine travel. Whether you're interested in wine tasting in the famous Langhe region, exploring Tuscany's rolling hills, discovering the excellent Rosati of Puglia, or savoring wines from anywhere in between - I'm here to make your trip unforgettable. 🤓In addition to learning about Italy's incredible wines, you can expect fun and nerdy facts from my guides, as I am a graduate in archaeology and art history. 🏔️Since I could never limit myself to one niche, I'm also a huge fan of the outdoors, climbing, and hiking. I love sharing the best of the Italian Alps with you, whether you're a beginner seeking a breath of fresh mountain air or an experienced adventurer looking for local insights. 📍Here you'll find extensive city guides, niche tours, regional wine guides, and much more! And if you're looking for something tailored specifically to you, check out my custom travel services! --- 💭About me: I'm originally from Middlebury Vermont but came to Italy at age 18 to study. As you can tell I never looked back. I've lived in Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Milan, and now I call Piedmont home with my family: myself, my Italian boyfriend, our adorable 1 year old, and the real star: Kiki our pup. _ If you dream of turning your Italy trip into a permanent move, I am an expat guide who helps individuals make Italy their home. From the visa process to the move, from setting up a bank account to understanding the healthcare system, I can assist you. Find out more on my website linked below.

✨ OCTOBER 9-31 PROFITS SUPPORT WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF ✨ For the next two weeks, all profits from sold guides will be donated to Manna FoodBank, providing food and hygiene products to 16 counties in western North Carolina. Questions? Reach out! Amateur Italian, travel advisor, and adventurous eater! I’m a travel creative living in small town northern Italy, and I've been planning travel for over 15 years. I've lived on three continents and visited over 40 countries, so I'm passionate about helping travelers experience the best of a location, no matter where! I love both/and travel: I want to see the big sights AND the local hangouts, the big cities AND the small towns. I’d love to help you do it too! If you’re going to Rome for the first time, you don’t need me to tell you to see the Colosseum. But you might want me to tell you if it’s better as a guided tour or on your own, what add-on’s are worth the money, and what are the extra secret things your ticket can get you! My favorite part of travel is eating well: finding the local haunts, tasting a new wine, and trying the local dishes. Amazing food doesn't have to be expensive: sometimes the best of a place is in the street food! But if it is a splurge, I'll make sure it's worth every penny. I'd love to work with you to create the trip of your dreams!

Laura Dolci

Lives in Granada, Spain
Hi there! My name is Laura Dolci and I am a travel blogger and travel content creator (Laura Dolci Travels). I've grown up traveling and moving around often, and due to that, I have several places I call home. Here is my story and all the places I am an expert in.☺️👇 I am originally from the beautiful city of Turin, Italy. During my years of growing up in Italy, I frequently visited Rome for family purposes, and the Liguria region for the summer. At the end of my 2nd Grade, I moved to Modena, Italy, and lived there for a few years. After my years in Modena, my family and I moved to the state of Maine and began our American adventures. Maine is a large state, but one that is quick to get to know. I can help with several locations, one being the gorgeous city of Portland. After some years in Maine, I moved to Boston for university - one of my favorite cities ever. During my time here, I've visited every corner there is and I'm ready to share everything about it. My last home is my current one: Granada, Spain. Similarly to Boston, I have walked this city an endless amount of time and know every corner. I've traveled throughout many Andalusian cities and towns and can offer my expertise on them as well. If you're coming to Andalusia, I'm your girl! A reason why I became a travel blogger is my passion for helping fellow travelers and travel lovers in having the best and most authentic experiences abroad. My specialty is in Hidden Gems, Gluten Free Restaurants, and De-Influencing - meaning I will protect you from touristy traps (if you want me to 😉). Having lived in so many different places, I have so many local insights and knowledge to offer - and I can't wait to share it all with you. On a final note, I have two 2 bonus destinations I can help with: Florence and Cinque Terre.

Danielle Cohen
Lives in Florence, Metropolitan City of Florence, Italy
Ciao! My name is Danielle and I'm a Californian from San Diego, who's been living full time in Florence, Italy since 2020. I studied in Florence in 2016 and absolutely fell in love with the food, culture, and history, and made it my mission to move back. I moved right before the pandemic, and staying here through all the lockdowns and pandemic life really helped me discover slow travel and find all of Italy's beauty, including lesser known gems, and off the beaten path travel spots. During my three years in Florence, I have wrote for publications like The Florentine, done freelance marketing with restaurants and a travel agency, giving me high insight into the best destinations, foodie spots, and more. I am here to help you make the most of your vacation in Italy with curated itineraries for every type of traveler and digital maps to help you enjoy THE BEST food each region has to offer. Let me do the work so you can just relax and enjoy, without any stress! I've had a very unique experience living in Italy the last 4 years, as I made my official move right before the pandemic, after visiting for years. Because of this I learned to travel locally and deeply throughout the numerous incredible destinations in Italy and for that I cater my travel services to finding the most local and mindful experiences, keeping true to discovering and appreciating Italy's culture.

Amy Is Going Places
New Pro
Lives in Johnson City, TN, USA
US native. Former resident of Romania. Current solo female globe trotter. I've traveled to Ireland, Italy, England, Scotland, Wales, Canada, The Netherlands, South Africa, Greece, Israel, and numerous places around the USA. I've done group tours, volunteer work, solo travel, studied abroad, and taught internationally. I lived for over a year in Romania, many years in Tennessee, and several months in England. My travel style is slow, spontaneous, and - shall we say - richly flavorful. I prefer to stay longer lengths in places instead of having a whirlwind sightseeing venture. I'll skip the chain restaurants for a hole-in-the-wall café any day of the week. I prefer a loose itinerary and remain open to what each day brings. My favorite things to do and see as I travel are... - EAT - Try whatever is local. Order the special of the day. Talk with the restaurant staff. - WALK - It encourages me to slow down, notice, and get a feel for community. - HIKE - I'm a lazy hiker. By "hike," I mean a few hours at a slow pace. - MUSEUMS - Spend an afternoon. Read the descriptions on exhibits. Talk with the docents. Buy something in the giftshop. - CHURCHES - I'm fascinated by the various ways people have worshipped the God of the Bible over centuries and across borders. Many older churches are also museums or tourist-friendly spaces. Some additionally hold regular liturgical services. - CASTLES - Castles, fortresses, palaces, big ol' houses: these places transport me back in time. I imagine the people who built, lived in, and defended them. What would they think of how we now live? If this kind of travel sounds ideal to you, follow me to easily access all the resources I've created. I'd love to help you experience slower, more meaningful travel. I have tips for how to make the most of your trip, with low stress, reasonable safety, affordability, and lots of fun. Book one of my custom services, and we'll work together to get you wheels up on your next adventure!

Curated guides, tailor-made itineraries, and insider travel tips for unforgettable adventures in Italy. Specializing in local food, wine, cocktails, and unique exploration - particularly in Rome but also in regions and towns north to south. I have experience planning trips to destinations ranging from small towns in Tuscany with a population of 29, to Italy's largest cities. Meredith Johnson
Lives in Charlotte, NC, USA
Hello! My name is Meredith, but my friends call me Mere. I am a nurse based out of Charlotte, NC and I am extremely lucky to have an international airport only 15 minutes away. About 4 years ago I got the travel itch. This is around the same time that my friends started getting married, having kids, buying homes, and just all around acting like adults. In a time where everyone was intent on settling down I was intent on having a trip booked every 3 months. I have planned solo trips and planned trips for myself and friends. I believe there is a difference in a trip and a vacation, so it’s most important to me for the client to know which they would prefer. When I travel internationally I try to make the most of my time, so most of my guides will be more “trip” based. This includes traveling to different parts of a country and making the most of the time to see and experience new things. I am open to more leisurely vacations guides and would have no problem helping you make a guide that fits your wants. There’s nothing more satisfying than finally getting the trip plan written down, well maybe except getting off the plane at your final destination. I believe in doing the must do things in the places you must do them. If you are going to someplace new, you never k now when you will be back there again, so you might as well do everything possible to elevate your experience.

Emilie La Gavi
Lives in Montreux, Switzerland
This is not your one-week relax and chill retreat vacation recommendations at the beach. I am more of a live-my-life-to-its-fullest and make-the-most-of-my-day type of traveler. Ironically, I love equally to travel solo or with a bunch of friends/family, eat old sandwiches on a backpacking trip or lavish on gastronomic food, a spontaneous adventure where we decide at 9pm where we are sleeping or a day-by-day planned trip. No matter where, how, with whom, and for how long, I choose to prioritize the experience and memories. And with a friendly budget. Sometimes, budget friendly means only booking a room on Airbnb in order to enjoy a nice brunch. Or, going to the grocery store to balance out an expensive scenic train ride. It's all about balance! At 24 years old, I am nowhere to be a travel expert. But, I lived in 4 different countries already, across two continents, and have a google maps saturated with saved pins. My obsession in finding the best gems, hidden spots, good food, fun cocktails, and unique experiences, has brought me here. You will find a good mix of shorts spontaneous weekends trips up to longer adventures; road-trip itineraries to nice hotels; Instagram- or TikTok-inspired worthy spots to unknown local gems; photogenic sceneries to more authentic views and smells. And occasionally, great spots to relax on your adventure. Because even if I enjoy walking 20'000 steps a day, I also enjoy a good spa/beach day as well!
