Planning a trip on your own can be overwhelming, right?
That's where I come in. We'll hop on a call together, and you can pick my brain about anything and everything travel related. Want to know my favorite wine regions? Best time to go? How long to visit? Best countries for kids? I am here it's your time, so we can cover whatever you like.
Having visited 55 countries, people always ask me what place is my favorite? Well, it depends. A better question, I think is where would I like to visit for the first time again? Probably, Ankgor Wat or Machu Picchu or the Whitsundays. But, I loved living in Italy, Portugal and Thailand. Being in one places for months or a year allows you to really get to be a traveler and not a visitor.
What places would I revisit - all of them!
Earth is a big place, there’s so much to see. And I would certainly do things differently now with a family and a 4 year old than I did when I was nomading.
What traps for the unwary have I learned?
- Visa, scrambling to find WiFi that works at the airport because I didn’t pay a fee to enter Argentina
- Visa, having a typo on my birthdate and almost being denied enter
- 6 month experiation period for passports - literally had an airline agent in a lounge tear up my boarding pass in front of me

Lagos, Portugal is a vibrant coastal town located in the stunning Algarve region and it's an excellent destination for first-time visitors.
My husband and I had a relaxing and enjoyable two weeks in the coastal town of Lagos, located in the southern Algarve region of Portugal. The city retains its Portuguese charm but is very much an international tourist town. English is widely spoken and a variety of cuisines available.

I've always loved hotels. This is why I ended up studying hospitality at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management and working for Starwood, Kempinski and Mandarin Oriental.
I've been a Portugal specialist since 2019 and have lived in Lisbon since 2022. This means that I've had the opportunity to stay in and inspect some wonderful properties over the years.
Here I'm sharing a collection of some of my favorite hotels.

Alentejo is located in the south of Portugal, between the Tejo River and the Algarve, bordering Spain to the east. It's an extensive rural region with sparse population, and we traveled through its nearly empty cities – it looks like a scene straight out of a movie. This was where our camper van journey through Portugal began.

Welcome to the Atlantic side ! Portugal is located in the south of France, next to Spain, and on the contrary is open to the Atlantic ocean and not the Mediterranean sea! The beaches are still beautiful, and cities like Porto or Lisbon have the advantage of being "inside" the country. They both have an inside sea, for city trips, but also a part located at the ocean for more "beachy" holidays. Then again, the most beautiful beaches would be in the south, in the Algarve region :)
