Algarve, the Portugal pearl 🇵🇹

Carvoeiro is a small coastal town in the Algarve, here you will find pristine beaches and a traditional setting. Carvoeiro is loved by both mature couples and travelers looking for a non-tourist environment. But it is also a destination chosen by families, thanks to the services it provides and the tranquility of the place. Its beach, called Praia do Carvoeiro, is sandy and surrounded by cliffs. It is not too big, so in the high season it is possible that it is definitely crowded. This is the only beach within walking distance from the town center, in addition to the small Praia do Paraiso, a very isolated cove.

Always linked to the activities of fishing, the fish canning industry, cattle breeding and the cultivation of almonds, figs and locusts, now the economy of Ferragudo, as mentioned, is also expanding in the tourism sector. It is surprising, however, that, despite its proximity to important holiday resorts, Ferragudo has maintained the traditional charm of Portuguese villages, with the picturesque houses painted white and the slow and quiet way of life of the locals.

Praia do Camilo is one of the most beautiful beaches in Lagos, a very popular and touristy area of the Algarve coast. The risk is to find it crowded in August, but it is absolutely an unmissable destination for those visiting Algarve. The things that most characterize this beach are the turquoise waters and the bronze color of the cliffs which give a more unique than rare tone!

It is a true paradise for every landscape photographer, with dozens of phantastic spots. You could spend a week only in this small area! The spot itself looks down onto the Praia do Barranco do Martinho, two small beaches between the cliffs. A perfect view for sunset!

Located in Lagos, Praia do Canavial, together with the other famous beaches of Praia do Camilo and Ponta da Piedade, offers breathtaking views, the cliffs of these beaches can reach over 100 m high. It is also one of the best places to see the sunset.

Algar Seco is located a few hundred meters before Carvoeiro, it is a set of rocks and limestone caves of all shapes and sizes from where you can admire the ocean, it can be visited either on foot via the marked path or by boat.

Praia Nova is a little beach that you can see better by boat , the water in the sea is turquoise crystal and pure brown sand, so you don't need special shoes here. The entrance into the water has a normal sharpness, This beach is suitable for different types of people: those who travel alone, those who love relaxation etc. The only problem, in high season it is quite crowded. Access to the beach is easy, the distance from the road is less than 500 meters. The parking lot is in the immediate vicinity.
