Travelling is expensive: flight tickets, hotels, activities, food, souvenirs, etc. Regarding your revenues, you have to fix a budget. For my boyfriend and I, the budget for flight tickets is a maximum of 250€ for two people (only in Europe). In general, we pay less than 150€. For hotels, it is less than 100€/night. Two years ago, when we were students, the hotel budget was about 90€/night maximum.
In a few words, travelling isn't impossible for a low budget. Here are my methods to find cheap deals on the Internet.

Finding a place to stay in Paris might seem daunting! However, through this list I hope to help alleviate the stress. The hotel options are categorized by neighborhoods to help optimize your tourism itinerary.
✨ As a self proclaimed Parisienne, I have curated this list with spots that family and friends have recommended to me over the years throughout their many stays in Paris.
🇫🇷 Paris is divided into 20 different districts or arrondissements as the French call it! Each neighborhood has its own charm. If you want to be in the center of tourism, I recommend staying the the center of Paris. If you are looking for something in a young and hip neighborhood, then I have options for you too!
🎯 P.S. This is a living guide that I will continue to update over the course of the next few months! So stay tuned! 🤗✨

Paris had almost 200 covered passageways ("les passages couverts" or "les galeries") in the 1800's. Today, 25 such passageways remain, mostly on the Right Bank, and this map guide includes the most well-known of these (not all 25).
Covered passageways are icons of Paris, home to beautiful shops, captivating architecture, and tucked-away cafes. Wonderful to seek out on a rainy day, or to pop into and walk through if you're nearby on your Paris wanderings!

Walking 18,000 steps a day might sound like a lot, but it’s hardly noticeable when you're immersing in the sights and sounds of a beautiful city like Paris.
Imagine strolling past cafes, boulangeries, shops, grocery stores, children playing in parks, and people walking their dogs. You can grab a croissant and coffee, sit in the park or by the Seine River to rest for a while, and then continue your walk. That’s what this itinerary is all about—no rush, just being in Paris, walking, and exploring all the places that ordinary tourists on buses, the metro, or in Ubers won’t experience.
We're sharing our actual 6-day, 5-night thoughtfully paced Paris itinerary. I hope you find it helpful for planning your next trip!
It’s detailed and will guide you to famous sights and some off-the-beaten-track places, places to eat, and tips to make your trip to Paris unforgettable.
