Ludlow is a picturesque historic market town in south Shropshire. Bordering on Wales, Ludlow has a long and interesting borderlands history. It boasts many finely restored period buildings from medieval, Tudor and Georgian times and has a large castle. Ludlow is a market town perfect for any foodie. The thriving market takes place each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is a great place to buy local food. Ludlow was the first town in the UK to ever plan a food festival, the first of which occurred in 1995. The festival was extremely successful and now takes place annually in September. Whilst exploring, be sure to stay fuelled and hydrated by trying out some local cuisine. Ludlow has an array of places to snack, brunch and eat your heart out. G'Day and Originally I scheduled the hop-on-hop-off bus tour to take me around the city but they were disorganized and the schedule was unreliable so I chose to Uber to a few places on my list. It was more economical and I enjoyed walking around a few districts in Sydney. I had a full day of shopping/eating/animal watching and sightseeing. Plenty of varied activities in this guide. Possible controversial opinion: London really doesn't rain as much as others think it does 😂 Grey and clouds are the go-to weather forecast, and this makes being outside and exploring the city by foot absolutely doable. But when it does rain, exploring a museum or gallery is a great way to still capitalise on a day out. There are SO many all over London and most of them are FREE - an incredible offering that is pretty unique to this city. And there's not much more quintessentially local than to get cosy in a nearby pub afterwards 🤍 Check out this guide for a wide mix - from war museums to immersive art and photography exhibits!

One of my favourite neighbourhoods in Sydney is Potts Point. A real community spirit and picturesque scene. It offers so much beautiful, art deco architecture that gives the area its distinct character: vintage boutiques, fashion, book stores, gift shops, florists, wine shops, pasticcerias, weekly produce markets, and an abundance of my favourite bars, cafes, wine bars, and restaurants. Once you turn that corner on Darlinghurst Road, you are right in the heart of Kings Cross, home to where the nightlife in Sydney once thrived and is truly set on making a comeback with the nighttime economy focus. Wander down Macleay Street, but don't forget the back streets and laneways are truly where it's at! 

Churchill is located on Hudson Bay, at the mouth of the Churchill River and on the edge of the Arctic Circle. To say Churchill is remote is an understatement. There are no roads in, so your only way to arrive is either by air or a two day (one way) train ride. Churchill is known as the Polar Bear capital of the world, and is the location of the annual Beluga whale migration. Each of these has a very short season of viewing. Polar Bears can typically be found in October and November, but can vary slightly (I was lucky enough to encounter 3 in July). Beluga season is mid July to mid August. It is also one of the premier places in the world to see the Aurora Borealis, more commonly known as the Northern Lights. The best time for the AB is late Fall, Winter, and early Spring. I went at the end of July and stayed for 4 nights and 5 days for the Beluga whale migration and it was worth every single penny it cost. Make no mistake, this is not an inexpensive trip due to Churchill's location. Everything has to be either flown, or railed in, so their costs reflect that. There is only one commercial airline that flies there from Winnipeg. But again, it was totally worth it and I can only describe sharing the waters with the Belugas as a magical experience.
