Intro:
Since I was a kid (born and raised in Rome) I heard of Romans barely eating around City Centre.
We were raised with the idea that is pricy and quality is just average.
With this guide I want to lead you in the narrow roads of the City to find hidden gems, as well as "locals-approved" touristic locations.
How to Use:
Each location will have the following information:
a. In the title:
- Local / Historic (☆☆☆☆☆) - Touristic, yet good (☆)
- Super cheap (€) - Luxury (€€€€€)
- Restaurant (R) | Take away (TA) | At the counter (C) | Ethnic (E) | Vegan (V)
b. In the description:
- The specialty of the house (highlighted in the first picture)
- Nearby monument / museum / famous area
- Must know information
All historic locations have undergone Nonna's approval :)
The guide also includes well known restaurants coming from the culinary tradition of:
- Persia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Mexico, Argentina, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Syria, Lebanon, Greece, Austria.

The Middle East is a remarkable region. The cradle of civilization to the crossroads of East and West, the region has so much to offer. Unfortunately, instability and war makes travel to some countries like Iraq and Syria impossible and to others like Lebanon and Israel/Palestine challenging.
In steps Jordan: the most stable country in the Middle East and maybe the safest country I've ever visited. I had the amazing opportunity to spend three months living in Amman and exploring all around the country.
While Jordan may not be quite as culturally rich as its neighbors, there are a lot of amazing sights to explore. Petra's ancient facades speaks for themselves. The sandy dunes and alien-like rock formations of Wadi Rum is (literally) the movie image of Mars. The Dead Sea is a buoyant and beautiful place. And this only cracks the surface.
This guide is an all-in-one-place guide to exploring Jordan and the wealth of exploring Jordan. This guide features listings from Amman, Jerash, the Dead Sea, sights on the Kings Highway (i.e. Madaba), Petra and Wadi Musa, Wadi Rum, and Aqaba. If you need a more hands on approach to a trip to Jordan, reach out to me! I offer planning services to craft the perfect Jordanian itinerary for you.
So as the Jordanians would say, yalla!

This is a guide to an Island hopping itinerary of: Athens-Andros-Syros-Naxos-Paros
This guide will cover how to island hop through 4 incredible Greek Islands. It will cover things to do, places to eat, how to get around, and where to stay in each place. I have personally been to every single place included in this guide (except one! you'll see). These islands are a bit more off the beaten path than the usual tourist trail of Mykonos and Santorini. They are WELL worth visiting and should be on every travelers list! I believe you will find this guide extremely helpful and it will make your island hopping trip a breeze! I have listed personal descriptions about every single thing listed to give you a clearer idea of what to expect.
If you're interested in other islands I have also been to Santorini, Mykonos, and Milos and would be happy to explore those with you as well! I can also help with my planning process for any island adventure you may want.. believe me I've researched a ton of them!

Dubai, the bustling metropolis of the United Arab Emirates, is a city where tradition meets the cutting edge of modernity in a way few places can match. Known for its iconic skyline and boundary-pushing architecture, Dubai is home to landmarks like the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest structure, symbolizing the city's ambition and global prominence. Alongside its modern marvels, Dubai’s heritage neighborhoods, such as Al Fahidi Historical District, preserve the city's historical essence with wind-tower architecture and traditional souks, reflecting its roots as a small trading port. Dubai’s visionary projects like the Museum of the Future further underscore its commitment to innovation, positioning the city as a global hub for culture, technology, and finance. The blend of heritage and futuristic developments makes Dubai a unique destination that celebrates its past while embracing the possibilities of tomorrow.
This travel guide includes:
- An introductory overview of the city’s essence
- Practical details on transportation, tourist passes, currency, and more
- A curated list of must-visit spots, including stunning viewpoints, museums, and cultural sites
- Perfect photo opportunities to capture the beauty of Abu Dhabi

This is a mini guide for the Island of Syros, Greece. I call it a "mini guide" because I have a larger and fuller 2 week Greek Island Itinerary. But if you're mixing and matching islands and just want to know about Syros, then this is the guide for you!
When we decided to return to Greece, I knew I wanted to look for something a little bit different. I spent countless hours Googling islands and reading blogs, and the honest truth is I don’t think you could go to a place in Greece that you wouldn’t like. There were a few reasons I chose Syros though and I am glad that I did.
Syros is special and different from other Greek islands I have visited. It has a very local feel and a bustling center in Ermoupoli. There is real life going on here and the island isn't JUST for tourism. Syros has wineries, amazing restaurants, incredible beaches, hiking, beautiful streets and alleys to wander down, and so much more. There is an incredible charm to visiting a different type of Greek island and I highly recommend staying here for a few days.
This guide will include everything that we did in Syros... tours that we loved, places we ate, beaches we went to, how to get around, and our favorite parts. I spent countless hours researching this trip before we went to make sure we got the best possible experience.
It will also include things we'd have done if we had more time and things that I'd still love to see on this incredible island.
