There are so many places to see in beautiful Morocco. It can be overwhelming to know where to start. So I have put together 10 MUST-SEE places you should visit when in Morocco with some things to see and do as well as a few restaurant and accommodations recommendations that I have personally tried and love!

So you've booked your trip to Marrakech and you want to get outside of the city and see more of Morocco while you are here but you don't have a bunch of days to go on a wild Moroccan adventure (I do suggest that if you have the opportunity, you come back and take a wild multi-week adventure across Morocco because there is just so much to see)... but back to reality. Where can you go on a day trip from Marrakech? That's what this handy-dandy little guide is here for!

This guide will save you many hours of trying to puzzle together an optimal itinerary for your first trip to Morocco in 7 days. I just came back and my planning efforts worked out so well I decided to write it all up. If you want to discover Morocco by yourself without going on organized trips, my guide won't disappoint you. It's perfectly doable and so much more fun! I spent several days trying to puzzle together different combinations by measuring driving distances in google maps and so on, and I ended up with this perfect itinerary. When we got back, we couldn't believe how perfect our trip was. There's really no need for that. I'm a cook so naturally I'm interested in good food, especially when there's a good value for the money to be had. I'll share my restaurant and street food recommendations together with what we paid so you have a good idea of what to expect.
