Results for London, UK
London is an incredible city with so much history to see within easy access of the Underground train system. After a slight learning curve (those gates close quick! If traveling with kids or baggagemake sure you use the wider family gate) the tube and bus system is extremely easy to navigate.
This guide includes 3 very full days of sightseeing followed by 3 days of Formula 1, but they could easily be spread out across a longer time period for a more relaxed trip.
This guide is especially for families that might be traveling to the British Grand Prix. London is a good jumping off point, although the daily commute from London is long, it is doable. If you will be doing the commute I recommend finding accommodations near Marylebone due to the nearly direct train to Bansbury where a shuttle takes you to the track.
And for anyone with food allergies, we found the restaurants to be exceedingly proficient about handling allergies. The ones we ate at are listed within.

Some favourite spots to eat, drink and pick up snacks in Covent Garden. Covent Garden is in Central London (UK) close to Trafalgar Square, Soho and Piccadilly Circus. Its great for shopping, wandering, relaxing and is a great location for a pre/post theatre meal as its within walking distance for the theatre district.

๐ Burgers are one of my favorite foods, so wherever I go, I make a point of seeking out the best ones. From my personal experience thus far, the burger transcends cultures, with each country putting their own spin on this universally-loved dish.
It made the most sense to begin with London, my adopted home, and a city brimming with burger tasting opportunity. Having tried many spots over the last 4 years, I bring to you, a (very) curated list of the best burgers in London. Options range from classic pub burgers to mouthwatering smashburgers and beyond - and all are unique to London/UK.
If you're as enthusiastic about burgers as I am and you don't see your favorites on the list, please do share over on Instagram @somethingsavored and I'll add to my must-try list!

Favourite places for Afternoon Tea in London, UK from a local whose lived here over 20 years. I've included a list of places we still want to go which is quite a few. Going to afternoon tea is quite a new thing for us that we only started doing the last 4-5 years.
The average price for afternoon tea starts at ยฃ55 with more top of the range ยฃ75+ per person.
Dress code varies but I would not show up in jeans or tennis shoes. You can do smart casual for many places but do check the websites when you book for dress code. There are some more formal places like the Ritz/Savoy that you could be turned away if you don't come dressed appropriately.
Afternoon Tea is meant to be savoured and taken time over. Do not rush but do ask how long you have the table for as you may be asked to leave for the servers to prepare for the next sitting.
You should start with the sandwiches and then move to any scones and then end with the pastries. You can often try multiple different teas in one setting. My partner and I often get through 2 pots of tea and try different ones each time.
The more traditional afternoon tea the more likely you'll be getting sandwiches like egg and cress and scones with clotted cream. There are themed afternoon teas out there from Mad Hatter, Peter Pan, Indian and seasonal ones like for Easter and Christmas.
11 suggestions for afternoon tea. Will be constantly updating this so do watch.
At the moment these suggestions are free but obviously tips appreciated! I try to put a lot of thought and effort into my guides and suggestions.

If you're looking for a city escape to live your European Summer dream, you've come to the right place! This is my 100% honest opinion of my 10 favorite European cities to visit in Summer.
I see lots and lots of guides out there suggesting Paris (hello, has someone heard of the Olympic Games taking place?), Madrid (if you love 45ยฐ weather I guess) or Lisbon (great choice if you want to be 1 or 100 000 tourists). While these are all great destinations year-round, I don't think Summer is the right season to visit them. Personally, I'd go there in Spring or Autumn, not during the high season.
Full disclosure, this is a no Greece, no Italy guide. You'll only find cities that I love, and I think are worth going to discover if you're looking for a short city-escape this Summer.

Visit all the spots where small-town Kansas football coach Ted Lasso inspired and encouraged us all to be better versions of ourselves.
This easy walking tour starts from Richmond Station, which is easy to reach from central London, and visits several locations used throughout all 3 seasons of the hit show. Plus images of how the locations were used in the show.
Notable sites, such as Ted's flat, the Crown and Anchor, and the spot where Roy and Keeley had their first date are included! Also discover the beauty of Richmond along the way while you explore this quieter area of London. Finish your tour strong at the spot where Keeley has her photo shoot, which has a gorgeous view of the River Thames.
And remember, you shouldnโt bring an umbrella to a brainstorm, but you probably should on a walking tour...

This area is full of fantastic restaurants, cafรฉs, pubs and shops, as well as charming side streets, secret passageways, gardens, markets and some of the most beautiful homes in the city.

THIS INCLUDES:
๐ค Two custom-made interactive routes (short and long versions)
๐ค 16-20 points of interest (depending on the length you choose)
๐ค 8 recommendations for a coffee, drink or light bite on the way

I am SO excited to share with you my favourite things to do in London! I've had the privilege of going to London 3 times and I've curated an itinerary of all my favourite places just for you!
Of course complete with the classic must-see tourist attractions that London offers, plus some incredibly unique things to do you wont find in any other itinerary, secret speakeasies and movie theatres, and everything Harry Potter. Of course, some great food suggested by locals and a few additional links that helped me have some incredibly unique experiences in London!
This itinerary can be done in 3 days, however they are quite full days. For a more relaxing experience, take 4 or 5 and explore even more.

See the sights of London through the eyes of a local. When I lived in London I learned which places are worth paying for, what can be seen and photographed from the outside, alternative (cheaper!) skyline views, and the best local pubs and restaurants.
