From Malaga to Malaga passing through well- and lesser-known places. In Spanish it is called "La Ronda de Andalucía" 🇪🇸 Do you know what we liked most ? All the smells on the roads and the friendliness of the Andalusians. This itinerary, result of many hours of research, has been planned for a 10-day trip but can also be used partially or for a longer time. You can also simply take inspiration from it, use the places it contains or combine our insights with your own researches to create your perfect trip. You must put Seville on your list of places to visit! And here is why... Seville, Spain, is a quintessential Spanish city. It is most famous for being the birthplace of the Spanish dance, Flamenco; many of the lanes in the city's Casco Antiguo (Old Town) house Flamenco theatres and boutiques. Additionally, the city is famous for its architecture as it preserves the history of the centuries of Muslim rule, the Feria de Abril and Semana Santa processions. Also, Seville is uniquely listed as a UNESCO city of music. After dusk, Seville comes alive with music in many of its gorgeous plaza's. How to spend 10 days exploring southern Spain. You can rent a car and brave the roads or travel between cities by train! Andalusia has beautiful towns filled with charm, history, and, most importantly, good food. Each town is safe and easy to navigate as a solo female traveller.

Experiencing flamenco in Andalucía's capital can be as simple as walking down a touristy street, but there's a variety of ways to enjoy live flamenco shows in the city, both paid and free.

Although less famous than its Andalusian neighbours (Seville, Córdoba and Granada), Málaga is no slouch in terms of history and culture: its 3,000 years of history make it one of the oldest cities in Europe. A stroll through the historic centre is a journey through time through the Phoenician, Roman, Arab and Christian eras, with attractions such as the 1st-century Roman Theatre, the 11th-century Arab Alcazaba, the 16th-century Gibralfaro Castle (built on the ruins of a Phoenician lighthouse) and the Málaga Cathedral, one of the finest examples of the Andalusian Renaissance.
