FREE Unmissable Guide for Seville, Spain. (3+ days)
Hello, and welcome to this Guide for a 3 day, or more, day trip to Seville. To begin with, this itinerary is not strict or set; I will be suggesting places to eat, drink, visit and stay while you are in Seville and from these suggestions you can curate your perfect tailored trip.
Let's begin!
⛺️Where to Stay
For my own visit to Seville, I had a medium budget and wanted to spend less than £50 per person/ per night on accommodation (58.30 euro or $62.93 US dollars, at the time). Here is where my partner and I stayed and absolutely loved it ...
🌟 Casa Señorial Siglo XVIII
(££)
My experience:
⛺️ From beginning to end using Casa Señorial Siglo XVIII was a dream. I found them on Hotels.com and thought that a private apartment would suit us as we were both remote working, so would appreciate the space and comfort.
☎️ After booking through Hotels.com it was easy to check my booking on their easy to use app. The apartments also offered to arrange for an airport transfer, this was an additional cost of 35 euros to the driver on arrival. It was easy to contact the apartment reception, via phone call or direct message using the Hotel.com app.
🚕 The taxi driver was waiting at the airport terminal and the drive from the airport to the apartments was a quick 17 minutes, which made the 35 euro charge seem expensive. But for the ease and piece of mind when first off the plane, we appreciated the transfer.
🔐 Check-in was completed via an emailed link sent 48 hours before our check in date, which then allowed us to receive an access code for the building and our private apartment door. This was such a helpful and easy way to use the building, as there was no worry of loosing a physical key.
🛁 The apartment itself was comfortably furnished and looked as good as the online photos presented it as being. There were all the amenities we could possibly need - from toothbrushes and toiletries to slippers and dressing-gowns.
🏕️ MOST IMPORTANTLY, the location was ideal! Located in a quiet street, off the back of a popular boulevard full of local favourite restaurants and bars, the apartment was in a pleasant area of the city. Just an easy ten minutes walk down a cobbled street and we were in the busy Old Town of the city where lots of shops, restaurants and bars could be found.
Overall, we would rate our stay at Casa Señorial Siglo XVIII a 10/10.

Here is a selection of places that I have eaten at and can personally review. Followed by a few extra spots that have great reviews online. Price ranges will be signified for each place as well as whether they accommodate gluten free, vegetarian and vegan diets.
☀️Rise and shine at...
🌟 La Cacharrería
($$) (Vegan and Vegetarian options)
Do breakfast right at La Cacharrería. They are a number one spot to get breakfast due to their healthy hearty plates. Sit alfresco in the Old Town street while you sip your morning coffee or smoothy.
Their smoothy bowls are refreshing, the toast toppings are endless, the burgers are hefty and their selection of cakes and breads are sure to have you staying all morning.
La Cacharrería is located just around the corner from the famous Setas de Sevilla.
We ordered the Papaya Smoothy Bowl, Vegetarian Toast (mushroom, avocado & beetroot hummus). I could eat the Smoothy Bowls all day, everyday!
🌟Filo
($) (Vegetarian and Vegan options)
In the centre of the city, this breakfast/lunch spot is great for a quick stop or take away - they also welcome laptop workers, so great for digital nomads!
A great place to stop in the early afternoon for a pick me up on a hot summers day.
We ordered Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, Tropical Smoothy, Hummus with pitta and vegetable sticks, and enjoyed a Vegetarian baguette.
Almazen Café

Cocome

Pan y Più

Virgin Coffee
🌖Evening lights lead the way to...
🌟 Marabunda
($$)
Our favourite meal during our stay in the city!
Just a five minute walk from the apartment we stayed in. It is a small venue and is very popular in the evenings, so it is recommended you arrive early when they open or book a table in advance.
They primarily serve fish and meat dishes, but to a professionally high standard. The small open kitchen produces gorgeous plates with sensational flavours and textures.
Open everyday for lunch and dinner, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sleek decor and scrumptious food.
We ordered the Crab and Prawn Croqueta, Potatas Bravas, Hand Caught Squid with Thai Seasoning, Seabass Tacos and Torrija French Toast for desert. The tacos were so good that we ordered a second plate.
El Pintón
($$$) (Vegetarian options)
Down a quiet street, surrounded by high end restaurants and fissionable boutiques, El Pintón is a gem. Their friendly staff, beautiful interior and immaculately presented dishes make for a special dining experience in the heart of Seville.
We ordered Fresh Grilled Salmon with Seasonal Vegetables and Idiazabal Risotto, both amazing. We didn't order drinks, but their cocktail list looked spectacular.
Duo Tapas Bar
($) (Vegetarian options)
Relatively far out from the main city attractions, Duo was a friendly location to dine Al'Fresco and enjoy a selection of Tapas.
Dining late in the evening (from 9pm) is the way of the locals, so try to immerse yourself with the culture and eat under the streetlights.
We ordered Frittas Bravas, Goats Cheese Salad, Mushroom Croqueta, Fried Aubergine with vinaigrette dressing.
Restaurante RICO Rinconete y Cortadillo
($$) (Vegetarian and Gluten Free options)
Bar Alfalfa
($$)
Il Ristorantino Dell´Avvocato Sevilla
($$) (Vegetarian options)
Coral del Agua Restaurante
($$) (Vegetarian options)
Islamorada Tapas Bar
($$$)
Loco Polo
($) (Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options)
The look of these ice-lollies tempted us to buy an evening sweet treat from Loco Polo.
With plenty of flavour options, there is something for everyone at this ice-cream parlour. From fruity sorbets to rich chocolate gelato. The ice-creams have gooey caramel centres and you can customise your lolly with chocolate coating and crunchy toppings.
We ordered Chocolate Bueno and Chocolate Hazelnut with a milk chocolate and cookie topping.

🎡 What to See:
Don't miss these main sights!
🎡What to Do:
Here are my suggested things to do during your trip to Seville.
A Walking Tour
A great way to get to know any city is by taking a walking tour. You'll see the sights and learn some history. Here are some links to Walking Tours in Seville:
🌟 A free tour means that you pay your guide what you think the tour is worth at the end. Its an easy way to get a general overview of the city.
🌟 Looking on TripAdviser for Tours in Seville will give you lots of options. Some tours may include Tapas, some may be tours of places outside the city centre, some may include using a bike or scooter. If you want a tour that isn't simply walking, then take a look at these.
🌟 Not always the most informative, a self guided tour might be more your style. Go at your own pace and follow a curated tour on a digital map of the city.
A Tapas Tour
Start a trip to Spain right, by immersing yourself in the cuisine. Try all the famous dishes of the region, gazpacho, patatas bravas, espinacas con garbanzos and serranito. What better way to find the best spots than going on a Tapas Tour, hosted by a local.
🌟 An established Tapas Tour company with the best knowledge there is.
🌟 For a wider range of budgets and specialities of Tapas Tours look on TripAdvisor.
🌟 For those who are vegetarian or vegan, this is your dream come true. This is a wonderful Tapas Tour and you receive a guide on all the best vegan tapas spots in Seville at the end of your tour.
A Flamenco Show
The birth place of Flamenco, you can't come to Seville without seeing a live performance! Here's what we recommend...
🌟 A professional performance in a small theatre.
🌟 View an intimate show in the only museum dedicated to the art of Flamenco. You sit so close to these dancers that you may feel the wind from the twirl of a dress. I recommend you get the combined ticket to see a show and enter the small museum.
🧘♀️Optional Extra Days:
If you have the time, why not book an excursion and embrace more of the Andalusia culture.
A Day Trip to Cádiz
Cádiz is an ancient seaside city with superb seafood.
Founded by the Phoenicians around 1100 BCE, it is Europe's oldest settlement. The city’s old centre is a maze of timeless streets and squares with faded mansions and fabulous fish restaurants, the local favourite being El Faro. Check out the raw ingredients at the Mercado Central de Abastos, which has more than 50 seafood stalls, before sampling some tapas and sherry in the Rincón Gastronómico, or digging your toes into the sand at a chiringuito (beach restaurant).
🚂 To get to Cádiz you need to catch a 1 hour and 40 minute train from Santa Justa station.
🚙 Or, it’s 1 hour 20 minutes by car on the AP4 motorway.

A Day Trip to the White Towns and Ronda
The pueblos blancos (white towns) are worth the explore; with moody streets twisting past whitewashed houses, to crumbling castles and imposing churches.
Ronda's spectacular location atop El Tajo gorge, carved out by the Río Guadalevín, and its dramatic history littered with outlaws, bandits, guerrilla warriors and rebels has made it a popular tourist destination.
🚙 Ronda is about 1 hour 50 minutes by car from Seville (A-375/A-374).
🚌 Or, 2 hours 20 minutes by bus from the Prado de San Sebastian.
Or, join a day tour ...
A Day Trip to Granada
A day in Granada's contrasting neighborhoods of energetic streets and peaceful hillside carmens (villas with walled gardens) will leave a lasting impression.
Sprawled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, the city was the last stronghold of the Moors in Spain and their influence is still evident everywhere. One of the most spectacular sights of all is the Alhambra, an astonishing palace complex towering over the city, whose Islamic decor and landscaped gardens are unrivaled in Europe.
Book your timed entry well in advance.
🚂 The fast train from Seville Santa Justa can get you to Granada in around 2 hours 30 minutes.
🚙It's nearer three hours to drive on the A92.
