Nestled on the outskirts of the Chisos Mountains is where I found this little slice of paradise. This historical town is central to many memorable experiences and what's even better is that it's a perfect retreat any time of year.
Don't be surprised if you find that time seems to stand still in this part of the world, especially when you find yourself glamping under a canopy of stars while still having the comfort of being indoors.

2022 was the year of a lot of travel redemption for most of us, but it was also the year I had to turn down trips to Portugal, Spain, and Paris, as well as have a trip to New Orleans cancelled due to Covid. But thankfully that didn’t stop me from a spring road trip to Texas, a few summer days in DC, two trips to Disney World, and lots of Tennessee day trips in between. Enjoy this travel journal of 350 (!!!) places, including:
🖼️ 42 Museums, Gardens, and Attractions
☕️ 50 Coffee Shops
🍽️ 99 Restaurants, Bakeries, and Food Trucks
🛏️ 38 Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts, and Airbnbs
✨ and a whole bunch more!

Toronto’s an enormous city & is one of the most popular cities to visit in Canada. Despite having lived here for over 25 years, I definitely haven’t done it all. You could easily spend 2 weeks in Toronto without getting bored, but 3 days is a great taste of the best things the city has to offer. This Toronto itinerary will share all the top sights and attractions to make sure you see the best of Toronto!

We recently spent almost three weeks in Panama and this country SHOCKED us. The amount of diversity this place has to offer is insane: waterfalls, beach towns, surfing, snorkelling, mountain towns, volcanoes, cloud forests, islands everywhere, and so much more. The weather, endless activities, amazing food, and ease of travelling around this place makes it a great vacation spot!
This itinerary covers the following places in Panama:
- Panama City
- San Blas Islands
- Playa Vaneo
- Santa Catalina
- Boca Chica
- El Valle de Anton (Anton Valley)
- Boquete
It covers everything we did (hotels, food, travelling, tours, activities, and SO MUCH MORE), and gives our personal opinion into where we think you should spend more or less time (to make this itinerary more flexible for your wants!).
This itinerary covers everywhere we went with the addition of a few days and uses a car - which we found to be the easiest way to get around. However, almost all the locations listed in the below are able to get around to with the use of shuttles and public transportation.
& yes it's for three weeks, but this itinerary is easily adjustable to either cut the locations that sound the least interesting to you, or add / cut more time in certain locations!

A Weekend Get Away in Portland, Maine: Guide & Consult if Requested
Portland is an incredible city for a weekend get away! I went with a group of girlfriends but this itinerary could truly be for just about anyone. This will include 3 days of things we did and enjoyed in Portland and additional things I would have done if we had more time. I am happy to consult with you about this itinerary as well through phone, email, or video chat. Start by emailing me at planformedani@gmail.com
Portland had a LOT to offer. There was delicious seafood, beautiful scenery, lots of cute shops, bars, and cafes, lobster fishing, and many breweries! I was very impressed by this city.
Portlands airport is also very easy to get to and you can enjoy your time in Portland car free! There are some things you can do additionally with a car that I will include. But a car is not necessary.
This includes where to stay, a 3 day itinerary, and some extras.

A 2-day tour of Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, will provide you with a glimpse of its historical, cultural, and modern attractions. Here's a suggested itinerary for your short stay:
This lively historic city has plenty to see and do, including museums, parks, theaters, shopping complexes, and a profusion of eateries.
Manila, the Philippines' capital, is a heavily populated bayside metropolis on the island of Luzon that combines Spanish colonial architecture and modern skyscrapers. Intramuros, a colonial-era walled city, is the core of Old Manila. The baroque 16th-century San Agustin Church and Fort Santiago, a storied castle and former military prison, can be found here.
Please note that this is a condensed itinerary for a short 2-day visit to Manila. The city has many more attractions to offer, so if you have additional time, consider exploring areas like Chinatown, and Divisoria for shopping, or visiting other museums and parks. Also, be mindful of Manila's traffic, especially during rush hours, so plan your activities accordingly.
