Kitsilano Beach

The original hippy hang out of the 1970s. Kits beach is not only a great swimming beach it's got a fun vibe!  The water isn't "warm" per say, but once you're in, I promise you it's not that bad. 
There's a change room and concession stand further west on the beach as well as a salt water public pool if the ocean isn't for you.  

This cute beach is a centre of activities. A great place to tan, swim, hang out with friends, play beach sports, and so much more.  Theres also a great walk around the area to have some great views over the beach, mountains, city, and water! 

Much busier than Jericho Beach due to its proximity to downtown, Kitsilano Beach is still a must see place in Vancouver, and it makes a nice spot to relax and admire some ocean and mountain views before your next stop.

Being close to downtown, Kitsilano Beach is one of the most popular, giving views of the city and the mountains this is the perfect option for those wanting out of the city... but not too far.

Kits beach is a favorite. It’s great for people watching, playing volleyball, or soaking up the mountain views. 

There is also a small park and a massive waterfront swimming pool 💦
