"If you are in Monti neighboorhood (hands down my favourite area) you have to stop for a lunch here if you are the type of traveler who likes to stop and enjoy your meal.
This trattoria can be hard to find since it does not have a sign with its name on it but just an original "Birra Peroni" sign on the wall.
Dishes are simple but they respect the Roman traditional cuisine. They have a standard menù plus some seasonal or daily dishes so make sure to check their blackboard!
PRO:
✔️The service is rapid and menù is based on fresh products the market offer.
CONS:
❌Hard to find since there is no sign outside"

"A lovely Roman trattoria in the beautiful Monti district.
Trattoria Valentino is a traditional Roman trattoria with a very rustic feel to it.
The menu is written on a board, which is always a good sign. It included some Roman classics and other interesting dishes.
The wine list has some fantastic bottles, and you also have the option of house wine for an easy one.
Stand out dishes here were the handmade fettuccine with sausage and mushroom & their ricotta and cherry pie.
They only take bookings via phone. "
