"This is the most famous pizza spot in the city. The crust is thick and they have a number of toppings to choose from. You order by the slice.
I personally don't think it's the best pizza I've ever had, but it's interesting to try because it's so famous.
They have something extra you can try called "Faina," which is made from chickpeas. It looks like a flat breaded chicken breast, but it is only chick peas, no meat.
You have two options: eat in or take away.
There is usually a line out the door for the take away option. Wait in line, and eventually you will arrive to a register where you'll place your order. They will give you a ticket, which you then show to the pizza server to the right. He will dish you up your slices on plates. You have the option to eat your pizza slices at the bar or at the tables outside.
If you prefer, you can also order an entire pizza to go. If you do that, just wait outside until they call your name.
If you prefer to dine in, there is a separate line for that. You can ask the hostess at the front door which line is which to make sure. Once you reach the front of the line, the hostess will take you to a table, and you order just the same as any other restaurant.
A few things to note: If you dine in, there is a dining in fee, so it will be slightly more expensive. Also, your food will arrive warmer. If you go for the takeaway option, you can expect the pizza won't be quite as warm, as it has been sitting out on the counter longer. It is also very busy and crowded, so it may feel slightly overwhelming.
We went on a Saturday night at 8:15. We waited in the takeaway line, which took about 15 minutes.
We ordered:
3 portions of pizza
1 Faina
1 Small Beer "

"7 PM - This is a very popular spot for Argentinian pizza, especially their Fugazzeta (cheese/onion pizza).
They don't take reservations, but we came early, so we didn't have to wait. We ordered the chica seafood pizza and the chica vegana berenjena pizza (aubergine, nuts, basil, and tomato sauce). The chica pizzas came as 4 large slices. The dough was thick, so the slices were surprisingly filling. The seafood pizza was topped with shrimp, calamari, and mussels. The seafood was a little on the hard side, particularly the calamari. I enjoyed the large amount of cheese on the pizza, but it could have had more tomato sauce or flavor. "

"By far Pizzería Güerrín is the most legendary pizzeria in Buenos Aires with over 80,000 reviews on Google and serving guests since 1932. They offer popular classic and also a variety of ingredients to mix and match.
From my own experience of dining here twice, I can say the pizza is absolutely scrumptious and worth the hype! But it's SO rich and thick you have to be really hungry or prepared to take leftovers. Either way Pizzería Güerrín is a must visit!!
Pro tip: to avoid the long line that will form, go for an "earlier" dinner. Argentinians eat really late, so as long as you go before 8 PM you should be able to walk right in."
