Cachafaz Caminito
@jenuine_reviews
We got alfajores at Cachafaz - super yummy! Alfajores are a must-try in Argentina. They are sandwich cookies with dulce de leche as the filling. Other shops offer samples of alfajores and dulce de leche if you wanted to try before you buy

LUNCH OPTIONS - San Telmo Market ~12 PM
La Choripanería
@jenuine_reviews
Choripan is an Argentinian sandwich made with chorizo (sausage) and bread. This spot was so crowded so we ordered to go. We chose the Patagónico, which had lamb sausage, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes, and mushrooms. It was surprisingly good. The lamb sausage had a good flavor. It was a little on the salty side, but still enjoyable

DINNER
Pizzería Güerrín
@jenuine_reviews
7 PM - This is a very popular spot for Argentinian pizza, especially their Fugazzeta (cheese/onion pizza).
They don't take reservations, but we came early, so we didn't have to wait. We ordered the chica seafood pizza and the chica vegana berenjena pizza (aubergine, nuts, basil, and tomato sauce). The chica pizzas came as 4 large slices. The dough was thick, so the slices were surprisingly filling. The seafood pizza was topped with shrimp, calamari, and mussels. The seafood was a little on the hard side, particularly the calamari. I enjoyed the large amount of cheese on the pizza, but it could have had more tomato sauce or flavor.

Day 2: Buenos Aires
BREAKFAST
London City
@jenuine_reviews
9 AM - This is a notable European cafe. I got 2 medialunas with ham and cheese and a Spanish hot chocolate. I loved the medialunas. They were lightly sweetened and so savory with the cheese and ham. The hot chocolate was quite thick and so chocolatey

LUNCH
La Biela
@jenuine_reviews
2 PM - This is a historic cafe. I got the ensalada la biela and my bf got the lomito a la biela. The salad had heart of palm, celery, apple, and shrimp with a lemon juice sauce on the side. I personally didn’t like the heart of palm much, and the shrimp was just standard. The dressing also wasn’t special - just tasted like lemon juice. The star of the meal was the lomito. It was sooo tender and tasty with the mushroom sauce.

DINNER
El Querandi - Cena Tango Show
@jenuine_reviews
8 PM - Watching a tango show is a must in Buenos Aires! We did the tango and dinner show at El Querandi, which included transportation to the show, so we requested to be picked up from Alta Piazza since this lodging was close to the library.
The full experience with the show, dinner, and transportation was $100 USD per person. The dinner included unlimited drinks (including house wine and beer). For my courses, I got the San Telmo salad, lamb casserole, and chocolate cake. The salad was good, and I was surprised by the generous amount of cheese on the plate, which went well with the bread. The lamb casserole was delicious too, although could have had more lamb pieces. The chocolate cake was incredible!! It was super chocolatey! The show was also great! I loved watching the talented tango dancers.

12 PM - We did a 1-hour Tigre River boat tour through GetYourGuide.
Here are other tour options if you prefer a longer experience:
LUNCH
María Lujan
@jenuine_reviews
1:30 PM - We ordered the dorado empanada, white fish, and salmon ravioli. The empanada was quite good. I enjoyed the filling. The outer shell was crispy, but a little too thick for my liking. The salmon ravioli was delicious! The sauce was so creamy and yummy, and it came with shrimp. The white fish was my least favorite. It was too dry. This spot is located next to the Tigre River, so it’s a prime location with a view

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES
Museo de Arte de Tigre
@jenuine_reviews
3:30 PM - This art museum is stunning on the outside. Closed on Mon/Tues. When we visited, they were not charging an entry fee, but only 2 rooms were open, so it was a quick visit. There was some nice sculptures outside

Studio Tango Seeds
@jenuine_reviews
7 PM - We did a 1.5-hour tango lesson in this studio booked through Airbnb experiences. It was supposed to be a group experience, but only my bf and I signed up, so it was like a private lesson. Our instructor, Maritza was so patient and taught us the basics in addition to a sequence that she recorded for us.

Here's another option for a Tango lesson:
DINNER
Niño Gordo
@jenuine_reviews
9 PM - This is an Asian fusion restaurant with Argentinian influences. The ambiance and vibe are super cool. My bf and I shared the beef tataki, beef curry, and the flan. The beef tataki was quite good, and the beef was pretty tender. The beef curry had a good flavor, but some of the beef could have been more tender. The flan was interesting to try. I liked the Asian influence with the black sesame crisp on top. Expensive for what you get, but it’s a unique place
