What people say

"Bois de Boulogne is a sprawling park located in the western part of Paris, renowned for its natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Originally a royal hunting ground, it was transformed into a public park in the 19th century under the direction of Emperor Napoleon III. Today, Bois de Boulogne offers visitors expansive green spaces, tranquil lakes, and winding pathways perfect for leisurely walks, jogging, cycling, and picnicking. The park is also home to various attractions including the Jardin d'Acclimatation amusement park, the Fondation Louis Vuitton contemporary art museum, and the Serres d'Auteuil botanical gardens."

"Younger children will love the amusement park, Jardin d’Acclimatation with its 44 attractions such as "rafting adventures", "speed rockets" and funfair rides. They will also love getting there on mini train from Porte Maillot. The water play area is always a big hit! Bois de Vicennes is home to the Parc Floral de Paris, which has fantastic playground facilities."

"This is a massive park (over twice the size of Central Park) on the west side of Paris. Fun fact, it used to be the hunting grounds for french kings. The grounds are free to enter, as is the botanical garden. You can also visit the amusement park (Jardin d'Acclimatation) or rent a boat for a fee. "
