What people say

"Parco del Valentino is the most famous and oldest public park in the city. It is certainly the best known city park and has been taken as a symbol of the city like the Mole Antonelliana. In a splendid position, not far from the center (1 km from the Porta Nuova railway station), it is situated along the left bank of the Po, between the monumental bridges Umberto I (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II) and Isabella (Corso Dante), and in overlooking the hill. The Park has a remarkable tree heritage, an interesting birdlife, multiple points of interest, cycle paths, walks and opportunities for sport and recreation."
"The city’s largest park, Parco del Valentino is filled with beautiful gardens, fountains, and sculptures, as well as many paths for walking, jogging, or biking. There you can explore the charming medieval Borgo Medievale village, built in 1884 and designed to showcase the architecture of the Italian Middle Ages. Another notable attraction is the Valentino Castle, one of the Royal Residences, built in the 17th century and now housing the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Torino."
"Stretching along the banks of the Po River, Parco del Valentino is Turin's largest urban park and a popular recreational area for locals and visitors alike. With its lush greenery, meandering pathways, and picturesque river views, the park offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, as well as attractions such as the Valentino Castle, medieval village, and botanical gardens."
