Christopher Shontz
"This place, aptly named, "The Place" was recommended to us by Aaron at RoamRig, who is local. The atmosphere is rustic and it has a phenomenal, coastal Connecticut vibe. Dining is all outdoor, with makeshift stumps and plastic chairs as seating. There are string lights, a blazing fire pit, a canopy that can be pulled over in the event of rain. Corn and seafood are searing on metal grates over the fire. It is all 100% authentic and is just a fun, cultural place to get fresh seafood cooked over an open flame. It's probably a best-kept-secret. Strongly recommended!"

"Another home state favorite of ours! The Place grills seafood perfectly while you enjoy it on a tree stump. It's BYOB and bring your own siders and snacks too!"
