"Harry Potter Train!! The train passes over Glenfinnan Viaduct four times daily: two times facing west at precisely 10:45 (the time I saw it) and 1:20, and facing east at 3:30 and 6:20. Outside of the afternoon service schedule in May and October, the train only passes twice daily, at 10:45 and 3:30. You can park at the Glenfinnan Visitor Center or the Glenfinnan Station Museum. Both have trails leading to viewpoints. I did the one at the station and saw it come around twice! Both places get packed, so give yourself enough time for parking and hiking! "

"If you're a Harry Potter fan, like many others, you're going to need to head HERE. Here you can visit the iconic landmark that showcases the train to Hogwarts. It gets very busy and you'll need to check the train schedule in advance (and if you have a specific viewing point in mind, come early to secure it). However, this is a GREAT rainy day activity as it doesnt involve too much outdoors and you can head back to your cozy campervan not long after. "

"The famous train bridge the Hogwarts Express crossed in the movies. Now, the Jacobite Steam train offers a Harry Potter-esque tour over this very viaduct (bridge). There is a gift shop at the parking lot with excellent Harry Potter (Warner Brothers licensed) gifts and souvenirs. Parking is paid year round and there is a short hike up to the bridge from the parking lot. It is accessible year round but the Jacobite train only runs in the summer. "
