Glenfinnan Viaduct
@katieguest
The famous train bridge the Hogwarts Express crossed in the movies. Now, the Jacobite Steam train offers a Harry Potter-esque tour over this very viaduct (bridge). There is a gift shop at the parking lot with excellent Harry Potter (Warner Brothers licensed) gifts and souvenirs. Parking is paid year round and there is a short hike up to the bridge from the parking lot. It is accessible year round but the Jacobite train only runs in the summer.

The filming location and inspiration for the lake next to Hogwarts in the Harry Potter Film. The castle was mostly CGI and model (as can be seen at the Harry Potter Studios Tour in London) and does not exist on the lake itself.
