Exploring Northern Italy ( 7 Day Detailed Itinerary )

Villa Monastero

➡️How to get there: Villa Monastero is a 10-minute walk from the pier and a 13-minute walk from the  Varenna-Esino railway station.
➡️Opening times: 9:30 am - 8 pm in high season, 10 am - 5 pm in low season 
➡️Entrance Tickets:
1) Garden only: €10 (15-25 years old visitors: €5)
2) Whole property (garden + museum): €13 (15-25 years old visitors: €7)
Free entrance for kids under 15 

13th-century convent transformed into a house-museum with terraced gardens in Varenna. Admire the historic architecture, 1000 species of exotic plant and flowers, and the lake views from one of the panoramic benches. The citrus groves and camellia garden are especially beautiful.

Tickets: $10 per person.

The garden of the Villa is wonderful. This beauty is really dazzling.
The entrance fee to the botanical garden is 10€ and 5€ if you are under 25.
You should count half a day to visit it.  

Villa Monastero boasts a long narrow garden along the lake with exotic plants, decorative statues, & beautiful fountains. You can buy one ticket for both Villa Cipressi and Villa Monastero

While Villa Monastero is a museum and conference center, it also has a pretty botanical garden that is worth exploring. This is one of the most Instagram-worthy locations in the area

this is a MUST visit!!! it's sooo beautiful! I've just visited the gardens of this place but it was sooo stunning!  It's open everyday from 10:00-18:00

Entrance fee: Approx. €10-12 for the villa and gardens.
