I understand how difficult it can be to choose a vacation itinerary. I’ve been to Italy seven times and have traveled a fair bit of the country. While I still have a lot more to explore, especially in the south and the islands, I’ve put together a 12-day vacation itinerary that hits some of the best destinations in the country but also takes you off the beaten path to explore some of the lesser known areas. If you budget a day on either end of the trip for flying in and out of the country, you have a perfect two-week vacation.
