Hotel Hoposa Costa d’Or

"This hotel is set atop a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. The pool also backs up to this cliff making pool-side lounging here a must. The rooms have large windows that open up and look out over the Mediterranean. The bar/restaurant has great service, and you guessed it, the outdoor seating also looks out over the Mediterranean. You can also lay on your own personal cabana a level below the pool with some glasses of champagne for some privacy. Possibly my absolute favorite part of this hotel is that it has its own private beach access. We followed a trail down the cliff through the woods and arrived at untouched coastline. We picked a big rock, laid out our towels and soaked in the sounds and sights of the Mallorcan coast. You could easily spend an entire afternoon at this private Cala. On our hike back up, we passed a farm with some donkeys and lemon trees. We felt like we were dreaming."
