What people say

"Faraday blends together a coffee shop and a record store in a very cool space, giving out urban vibes. The place is super photogenic, beautifully designed with some pop art furniture and hipster aesthetics. The owners are very passionate about their cool shop, and they are serving high quality coffee. From time to time, they organize different events, but mainly you can come to enjoy great music and delicios coffee. They also offer wine, craft beer and some food. Though they allow laptops, it is a record store, so it won't be super quiet for you to work there, but it's a perfect spot to relax and spend some time in the center of Madrid. It is also pet friendly, so you can bring your little friends!"
"Part coffee shop part record store in Chueca. It's definitely cool inside! I would only beware that the seating to demand ratio is not always super favorable. Nor are there tons of other good options in this particular part of town, so if you're trying to sit for a while and it's packed you might end up sol. That being said, go on the off times if you can. They are pretty particular with technology rules (laptops and tables only upstairs and only till 1 pm I think... I learned the hard way) but they're otherwise very chill here! I like this cafe for meeting friends specifically"

"Enjoy your coffee while the barista plays their favorite records in this little coffee shop in chueca. You won't regret visiting and might even walk away with some new vinyl..."

Madrid may not have Barcelona’s reputation for excellence in design, but its broad sweep of architectural history provides a glorious backdrop to city life, from medieval mansions and royal palaces to the unimagined angles of Spanish contemporary architecture, from the sober brickwork and slate spires of Madrid baroque to the extravagant confections of the belle époque. En fin, Madrid done right never disappoints. This itinerary outlines the best way to spend a few days exploring my city with a range of restaurants and activities to choose from.
