"Friendly manners and great service have been the signature of this Slow Food awarded Osteria - that also appears on the Michelin guide under the few Bib Gourmand tables in the Capital - since the turn of the century. 🛑 Don't get misled by the simple look of the place, this long-established hosteria near Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori has consistently delivered classic and generous Roman cuisine to its regulars. The menu is a heartfelt ode to classic Roman cuisine, featuring generous portions of beloved dishes such as cacio e pepe, roast lamb, and salted cod, all crafted with top-quality ingredients. If you haven't tried that yet we recommend having carbonara here, certainly among the best in Rome. Next to this and some other big traditional classics - Amatriciana, Cacio e Pepe, Roast Lamb - the talented chef Antonello Magliari and his four partners like to experiment with a few more contemporary dishes such as "sfoglia di burrata e acciughe" three layers of puff pastry with burrata cheese and anchovies. Served in a rustic-style dining room, ✨the price is absolutely coherent to the quality although not too expensive. "
"A Roman Osteria located in a very popular and historic area of the city, Campo de' Fiori. A very interesting menu with classic dishes and other innovative variations, using local and seasonal produce. Daily specials are also written on a board. A great wine list, with some fantastic regional and local bottles. Stand out dishes here were the ox tongue with salsa verde and their zabaione served with nut caramel crunch. A very rustic and traditional setting, with a welcoming vibe and the staff are extremely helpful. They have an online booking system on their site. "

"Friendly, reliable, well-priced, and located in a nice central location around the corner from Campo de’ Fiori. One of the city’s “slow food restaurants”, it uses quality ingredients to create excellent Roman classics, from cacio e pepe and carbonara to seasonal dishes with artichokes and foraged greens."
