Blacks is solid but not as impressive as Austin’s best. It’s still one of the top places to go if you don’t want to wait hours in line. 


The original location is in Lockhart outside of the city.


$$ My favorite Austin barbecue! Texas is known for its brisket and here it is amazing! The sides are also delicious! This place can get very busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait. 

Go here for your staple Texas BBQ. If there is a line it usually moves quickly
