What people say

"This is THE place to come and try the Focaccia Barese. It is a historic forno, located near the “Saint Nicola ” Cathedral and is one of the oldest bakery in town. They are famous for their focaccia, which they constantly make all day, made with cherry tomatoes and olives on top. You can get a huge slice for about 2 euro, and eat just a few minutes away with a view of the Lungomare. Heavenly!"

"A temple for Apulian street food and an unmissable stop Antico panificio Fiore is in fact an oven-museum inside a deconsecrated church in the heart of the old city. It is the quintessence of focaccia alla barese, the one you smell in the alleys and reach your destination by nose, with all due respect to Google maps."

"Panificio Fiore is pretty interesting; it’s been around since the early 1900s, and is in a building that dates back to 1508. They serve all the local bakery staples, but the focaccia is what they’re really famous for. The focaccia is oily and topped with tomatoes and olives and it is a local speciality, "
