Exploring Somewhere
"This park is one of the larger parks in Big Sur, but also one of the more underdeveloped. The hiking is spectacular but the trails tend to be longer, so if you are limited on time we recommend sticking with some of the smaller state parks. Parking is $10 per car. Our favorite hikes include: 🥾 Creamery Meadow, Panorama, and Bluffs Loop - 8 mi loop considered to be one of the best in Big Sur. There is a river crossing at the beginning of the trail, but it's usually very easy unless there has been a lot of rain 🥾 Andrew Molera Beach Trail to Creamery Meadow Loop - 2.1 mi loop through picturesque meadows stopping at a beautiful beach 🥾 East Molera Trail to Post Summit - 9.1 mi challenging trek up Post Summit that rewards you with sweeping views of the stunning mountains and coastline "

"There are only a few trails to explore in Andrew Molera. The easy Bluffs Trail winds along the bluffs with ocean views. The 2 mile Creamery Meadow Trail crosses over the Big Sur River. If you visit during the spring or summer, you can also hike the beach trail. There will be a small bridge set-up to cross the stream. In the off season, you’ll have to walk through the cold water until you reach the trail. "

"This park has a beautiful coastal trail that will take you to the beach. It's a good spot to spend a couple of hours if you're looking to chill away from a bunch of people."
