What people say

"A historic wine bar located round the corner from Piazza Navona. Cul de Sac is an iconic wine bar in a beautiful area of the city. The overall style of the place is a very traditional, rustic Italian enoteca, with an astonishing variety of wines from all over the world (1500 bottles available). The food menu is also one you could find in an actual restaurant, and includes a whole range of smaller plates, such as pates and fantastic selections of cheese and meats, and other main dishes, such as pasta and coda alla vaccinara. The enoteca inside has kept that same style and vibe from the 70s when it first opened (according to my parents who have been going since), and is a fantastic place to try some delicious wines and pair with a few bites. They take reservations via phone."

"Tucked away near Piazza Navona, you'll discover the vibrant gem that is Cul de Sac. This charming and small enoteca certainly lives up to the title wine bar; with a wine menu almost as thick as an atlas, it is no wonder that the walls of this establishment are covered in wine bottles. Words do not do justice to Cul de Sac's cosy Italian atmosphere and amazing food; you have to experience it for yourself! Treat yourself to the oxtail, lasagne, and if available, the duck ravioli."
"•If you want local cured meats and cheeses (but also a great French selection) accompanied by delicious homemade pates this is the right place •They don't have a large selection of natural labels but the food is delicious and worth it •The strong point of this place is the service: fast but at the same time calm. They are always ready to advise you on the best label without ever lying! •Perfect if you are near by Piazza Navona, just 5 minutes walk • Reservation is recommend"
