Playa Manzanillo

"This charming little beach is a favourite among locals to spend the day at, thanks to its calm waters and various food options. With almost no waves, it’s perfect for a peaceful dip, swim, or some snorkelling. Along the shore, you’ll find an array of restaurants serving fresh seafood and drinks, while the far left of the beach features a seasonal vendor selling freshly shucked oysters—definitely worth a try! To the right of the beach, beyond the rocks, lies Puerto Angelito, another small beach where you can embark on a sunrise dolphin boat tour. I’ve done this four times, and every trip has been magical—I’ve swum with dolphins, spotted turtles, mobula rays, flying fish, and even had the unforgettable privilege of encountering a breaching humpback whale!
