Alba is a popular town, and for really good reasons and absolutely worth a visit especially if you time it well you can indulge in some of the best Italian produce and wine all at the same time namely the International Truffle Festival (Nov and into the first week of Dec) Of one of the many street wine festivals they hold throughout the year. So basically this town always celebrates some sort and it's usually food and booze-related. It's home to some of the best Italian red wines, including the legendary Barolos and Barbarescos. Piemonte holds a super special place in my heart. It is one of the most famous wine regions in all of Italy. Not only is it home to my personal favourite wine but it also has an incredible food scene and truly breathtaking landscapes. I was lucky enough to do my internship here a couple years back during the most exciting time to be in Piemonte - the fall. This is when harvest takes places for wineries so theres lots going on and so much to take part in. The leaves changing colours is magical to witness...hillsides incredible hues of orange and yellow. Lastly, it is the beginning of white truffle season so restaurants are bustling and it is time to indulge in some of the finest cuisine the region has to offer.  In this guide, I'll recommend my favourite and best wineries to visit, must try restaurants, and charming towns to explore.
