Naples is a beautiful city, which is often overlooked due to high competition from other cities in Italy like Rome, Amalfi, Florence etc. But Naples is beautiful in its own way. And if you love food as much as we do, Naples should be high on your list, because Naples is a food heaven!!! We'd love to visit Naples again someday, just to relish the delicious food again. In this guide, we will cover the places that you should cover in Naples in 3 days, and where to the most delicious food!!

How to reach

Naples is situated in the Campania region of italy. To reach Naples, you can take a direct flight to their airport, or you can take a train from Rome and other parts of Italy to reach Naples.

To reach the main city from Airport, you can take cab, but we recommend taking Ali Bus shuttle services. Ali bus from Airport and Central station runs every 15 mins for the city, and is the chepest way (5 euros per person), to reach the city.

Day 1: Naples

Places to visit

Start your day by visiting Galleria Umberto I. The Galleria has a lot of eateries, and is a good place to grab a cappuccino, as well as Sfogliatella, a classic Naples pastry.

Day trips from Naples:

Naples is a very good base if you want to do some nice day trips. Whether it's to the historical sites of Pompei, herculean or to the gorgeous coast of Amalfi and islands of Capri and ischia.

Day 2: Amalfi Coast

Amalfi coast is hardly 2/2,5 hours away from Naples, and we highly recommend doing a day trip from Naples to Amalfi coast. For the day trip, we recommend either booking a tour by get your guide or Viator.
