my favorite food market! it's the number 1 and gets super packed on weekends. closes at 6PM too so plan in advance! I recommend maybe 2-4PM tbh, less people.

this place is definitely worth visiting, its right next to the palace and you can rent Hanboks to take pictures! ps. if you do rent, you can get free entry into the palace :) watch vlog!!

i haven't been as i'm allergic to seafood, but my seafood fanatic friends talk about it and i've seen it on peoples lists! i'd recommend looking at tiktoks about it too :)

N Seoul Tower

I've both hiked up and took the cable car up but I really would recommend this tourist spot, you get such beautiful views of the city and there's also an observatory you can checkout! There's restaurants and sometimes shops too :) watch the vlog!

people love coming here dressing like korean students in the uniform and take pictures! it's a small amusement park at the corner of the city and a fun half/day trip!

such a beautiful building at night. its outside of a station so its nice to stop by! probably wouldn't spend more than 20 minutes here though unless you like Kakao friends there is a adorable store here :P

LOTS of SHOPS and STREET FOOD and just a very touristy area. I used to live somewhat nearby and would come just for the street food but its a good place for your first or last evening in seoul :)

this is in Seongsu, more on the south east area of Seoul. Definitely worth spending a few hours in this area as you can walk through the forrest and also visit all the little shops + cafes nearby!

i absolutely love this spot, to just sit and enjoy the city views. there are night lights to see but only certain times (LINK) if you go up west the river, there is another park area where you can eat ramen!

Hi! I'm Joanne, 21 y.o, currently living in Seoul, South Korea. My traveling journey began in 2019 at the age of 17, I went to South Korea and from then on, I started collecting stamps on my passport :)
A bit of my background, I'm Taiwanese American from Bay Area, California USA. I've also lived in Taiwan throughout 2020-2022 and from 2022 til' now in South Korea. Occasionally visiting Japan to make videos :)
Most of my content is based on hidden spots + recommendations and budget traveling tips as that is How I Began (as a student) Growing up I've always enjoyed making videos and sharing what I discover/learn with my friends so here I am!
