"If you’re on the hunt for dirt-cheap finds & don't mind getting your hands dirty, this place is your thrifting paradise. Dongmyo is open on Sundays, & trust me, you’ll find everything here — from used clothing, accessories, shoes to cameras, instruments, vinyl records, books (mostly in Korean) & even some unexpected knick-knacks & weapons. But fair warning, this spot gets super crowded on weekends, especially when the weather’s nice, so brace yourself for the hustle and bustle. Most of the ahjummas & ahjussis (older ladies and gentlemen) selling here are pretty cool, but like anywhere, there might be a few who are less than friendly. Just keep an eye out & trust your instincts. ✨ PRO TIPS! If you’re not fluent in Korean, it’s a good idea to brush up on your haggling skills and memorise numbers/prices in Korean. Better yet, bring along a friend who speaks the language to help you avoid getting scammed. For the best experience, hit the market early in the morning around 9-10 AM to avoid the crowds & score first dibs, or swing by just before closing time around 5 PM to snag those last-minute deals."
