"This historic Korean village is a community of traditional Korean houses. It is free to explore with the opportunity to see breathtaking views (including views of Seoul Tower). Getting there is easy using the subway or bus. If you prefer avoiding the tourist crowds, get there early (around 9 am). You can also rent a Hanbok for a couple of hours or the whole day from $13 to $20 on average and capture memories exploring the cute alleyways. Please do not be too loud as there are locals and families who live here. Travel tip: To avoid feeling rushed, I recommend getting the whole day and after visiting the village, visit Gyeongbokgung palace next (free entrance if you are wearing a hanbok) & Jongmyo shrine (if you are lucky, you might see a ritual ceremony being conducted there)."
"In the heart of bustling Seoul, Bukchon Hanok Village offers a serene escape to a bygone era. As you meander through its winding alleyways, you'll be enchanted by the timeless beauty of traditional Korean hanok houses, with their gracefully curved rooftops and wooden lattice windows. Each step unveils a glimpse into the past, where historic architecture seamlessly blends with the vibrant energy of modern South Korea. Whether you're capturing the perfect Instagram shot or simply savoring the peaceful ambiance, Bukchon Hanok Village invites you to wander through history and experience the charm of Korea's architectural heritage."
