This is the ultimate 7-day itinerary for when you visit Singapore. Focused on Jewel, Orchard, Somerset, Bugis, Marina Bay Sands, Clark Quay, ChinaTown, Sentosa. 

There will be a lot of walking under the hot weather (cause its Singapore, so make sure to check the weather report often) So i tried to keep this itinerary simple yet enjoyable. Which means you get to walk around to enjoy Singapore and still have some energy left, will not drain your energy or end up with leg pain.

Solo Trip - 7 days 6 nights Singapore Itinerary

Merlion Park

Discover the picturesque promenade at Marina Bay where you can find the famous 28-foot Merlion statue! This unique half-fish, half-lion sculpture adds a touch of charm to the bay with its water-spouting feature. Symbolizing Singapore's fishing village origins and the Lion City itself, this iconic statue has been a beloved tourist spot since its unveiling in 1972. Make sure to include a visit to the Merlion statue in your travel itinerary!

Next, venture to the iconic Merlion Park, where the mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish stands proudly overlooking the waterfront. This symbol of Singapore's maritime heritage offers an excellent photo opportunity, allowing you to capture the essence of the city against the backdrop of the glittering bay.

Didn't get to go here in the morning. They said that there are less tourist here in the morning. Though the lights and atmosphere at night time really made it special. Sitting at the steps and just people watching was such a fun thing to do especially when you're traveling solo.

The Merlion is an iconic symbol of Singapore, representing a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish, symbolizing the city's historical connection to the sea and its original name, "Singapura" or "Lion City."

Singapore's iconic 28-foot Merlion statue, a half-fish, half-lion stone carving that shoots water into the bay. 

Sadly, this area was under construction while we were there, but the merlion is a symbol of Singapore.
