Where to eat:

It's no surprise that Ciudad de Mexico is full of great food. Some traditional, some modern, the local cuisine comes out to play in both elevated gastro-pubs as well as street food carts, both equally delicious.

I've organised my favourite CDMX food spots by neighbourhood. Buen provecho!

Roma (Norte & Sur):

The Williamsburg of CDMX, this neighbourhood has the best combination of local and global cuisine, culture and art. Great cafe's, restaurants and shops make this area a great base while visiting the city.

Hipódromo / La Condesa

A vibrant neighbourhood with a great mix of trendy cafe's by day and sleek bars by night. Also, a great place to grab a bite before a night of cocktails.

An Aztec Day trip

One of the highlights of my time in CDMX was a day trip to the Teotihuacan archeological site. A great example of the development of the ancient civilisation that lived in the region.

A Bite to Remember

Hidden in a natural cave with a beautiful history, La Gruta is a restaurant to remember. Right next to the pyramids it is a great spot to go for lunch or dinner, depending if you want to start or end you visit to the area with a breathtaking meal.
