In this FREE guide, I'll be sharing my top picks in two Brooklyn neighborhoods that are easily accessible from Manhattan and full of hidden gems ( and the most famous photo in New York City.) Your time may be limited, so there's plenty of options for any kind of traveler. Highlights: ✅ Major Tourist Sites (Brooklyn Bridge) 🍕 Pizza and Lunch Spots 🤐 Hidden Gems 🌇 Breathtaking Views and Most Famous Photo Opportunities in New York This is a live guide, meaning I will update it when I find new favorites or places close. It will automatically sync the changes even after you save it! Note: Most destinations have an audio message & a timestamped video 📹 link if it was ever included on my YouTube Channel. How You Get Here:

Subway 🚊 : Take the A or C train Downtown to High Street Station (From Manhattan).

**My Personal Pick**: Take the ferry one way to Brooklyn and walk back to Manhattan. There's an argument that you should walk the Brooklyn Bridge from the Brooklyn Side to Manhattan, as you'll be facing the Skyline instead of turning to see it. This can easily be reversed as well. If you're not a big walker, you can alternatively walk a little of the bridge for photos and just ferry/subway both ways.

DUMBO:

This is where you will find the most tourists, as it is close to the Brooklyn Bridge and the waterfront park. I consider this area a MUST Visit for any First Timer. It can be completed in 1-2 hours.

Shake Shack Dumbo
@herebebarr
If you go to California all you hear about is In-N-Out Burger. When you come to New York Shake Shack is all the hype. The original opened in Madison Square Park in 2001, and has spread worldwide. A single shack burger is $6.69. This is a premium price for a premium product. This is a very New York choice for lunch if you're a fan of great burgers.

Brooklyn Heights:

If your time is limited, you may not be able to fit in the major points of Brooklyn Heights. Technically, most of BK Bridge Park is in Brooklyn Heights, but my picks are away from there. I encourage you to try, as it's truly one of New York's most beautiful areas and will give you a completely different vibe than Manhattan (with way less tourists around than DUMBO).

Located next to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Just walking here will put you in the direction of some the most beautiful brownstones and homes in Brooklyn! Capote wrote Breakfast at Tiffany's in the basement of this home.

Recommended to me by many foodie friends. For a Thai sit down experience in Brooklyn Heights. I'd consider them for the lunch special (see link below for menu) at $13.00 which comes with an appetizer and entree.
